Hey guys... I know some of you have seen my posts about my brother in the weightlifting forum. He's 14 years old, and is around 5'6, 100 lbs and takes pills for his ADHD so he doesn't have much of an appetite. However, he basically eats shit most of the day and since he is so severely skinny and hasn't gained any weight in his recent growth spurt he is really self-conscious. How does this look as a diet for him?
Any input/suggestions is much appreciated! Please bare in mind he only weighs 100ish pounds and is 14.
Also, / indicates another meal
Breakfast -[FONT="] [/FONT]Eggs/Oatmeal/Cheerios+Milk/Protein/Yogurt/Fruit smoothie
-[FONT="] [/FONT]1-2 serving of fruit- Bananas, Oranges, Berries, etc (if no smoothie)
- Whole Wheat Bread + Butter (if smoothie)
-[FONT="] [/FONT]2 glasses of water
Lunch
-[FONT="] [/FONT]PB + Jelly/PB + Honey/Whole Wheat Bread + Meat/
- 1 serving of fruit
-[FONT="] [/FONT]Water
Snack
-[FONT="] [/FONT]Apple and Nuts (can't have anything else in school besides in 1 class)
After School Snack
-[FONT="] [/FONT]1-2 servings of vegetables- Carrots/Broccoli/Cauliflower, etc.
-[FONT="] [/FONT]Protein- Peanut Butter or something else/ Protein shake on workout days
-[FONT="] [/FONT]2 glasses of Water OR Green Tea
Dinner
-[FONT="] [/FONT]TBA, but always healthy besides every once in a blue moon
After Dinner Snack
-[FONT="] [/FONT]2 glasses of Water
-[FONT="] [/FONT]Nuts
