DC Routine 4x a week?

MikeyG

New member
I've been following the DC training routine for the past 3 weeks and absoutley loving it! Although, doing the 3x a week seems not enough for me since I'm a college student with plenty of time, and my calorie intake is insanely high for my weight.

I've read the first 9 pages of DC training thread--- I ain't gonna read all 40 pages to find a simple answer. :(

My question is, Is there a 4x a week DC training Routine?

I am glad you like the routine.

The closest you can get to training 4 days a week is by following this routine:

WEEK1
Day 1 - ON (chest, delts, triceps, back w., back t.)
Day 2 - OFF
Day 3 - ON (biceps, forearms, calves, hams, quads)
Day 4 - OFF
Day 5 - ON (chest, delts, triceps, back w., back t.)
Day 6 - OFF
Day 7 - ON (biceps, forearms, calves, hams, quads)

WEEK2
Day 1 - OFF
Day 2 - ON (chest, delts, triceps, back w., back t.)
Day 3 - OFF
Day 4 - ON (biceps, forearms, calves, hams, quads)
Day 5 - OFF
Day 6 - ON (chest, delts, triceps, back w., back t.)
Day 7 - OFF

WEEK3
Day 1 - ON (biceps, forearms, calves, hams, quads)
Day 2 - OFF
Day 3 - ON (chest, delts, triceps, back w., back t.)
Day 4 - OFF
Day 5 - ON (biceps, forearms, calves, hams, quads)
Day 6 - OFF
Day 7 - ON (chest, delts, triceps, back w., back t.)

Basically you train every other day.

However, always and I mean always include a rest day after a training day. Try this and you should be fine!:D

A select few have been able to do this:

Monday - A day
Tuesday - B day
Wed off
Thursday - A day
Friday - B day

But the ones that didn't overtrain had either insane genetics or used gear. Even most gear users can't get away with the schedule above. In fact I'm afraid by posting this people will think they can do it, and try it that way. Maybe 1 out of 50 could do it so don't put yourself in that category.

Because you use one exercise and one set per muscle group compared to others that use 9-12 sets per muscle group.

Mikey G: I would be interested in seeing your results and the bodys response to doing DC 4x a week, being it is something I considered.

dirty: I am intrested too! lol. I'll keep you updated via PM once I start the 4x DC training-- but keep in mind that I am practically training every other day.... 1 week will include 4 times, and next week will be 3 times. and so forth.
