Last year, I went into get my BF done and I blurted it out and that is how I started training with my first trainer, never did the comp, but the training was awesome and now I am hooked and can not wait to do one start to finish.

Thanks, the picture in my avi is 4 weeks before I was supposed to do my first competition. I went from 146 30% bodyfat to 16% 133 pounds in 6 months.

I am 152 pounds now so not a very good representation of myself, but it is my motivator to get back there by this summer. Plus I have to get my BF done again because I don't think I am as far off as I was before, I still look better now at 152 then I did at 146 so that I guess says a lot.

Thanks I will need it, I don't even know what to wear. never got in a workout yesterday. I spring cleaned the whole day. washed all the walls and cupboards. So I am counting that as cardio.

My son and I rearranged my bedroom. and tried to put the rest of my bed together (It has four large beams around it) while in the process of moving the bed the beams fell down, thank god no one was hurt but I damaged my bed arrrr.

By the time I hit my bed, I tried to study in it, I don't even remember falling asleep LOL.

LOL For some reason when I go into interviews and they see my personal interests on my resume "enjoys weightlifting and running" they kinda look at me funny but they still ask about it and so I tell them how being healthy and staying in shape is important to me and they still stare at me blankly.

I don't know LOL

What is nice is I have had a lot of women approach me at the gym and ask me if I am a personal trainer and what do I do (which is what I never expected, even now).

So I put my disclaimer in and then give them a short version of my training and diet. All the women that have ever asked me say "oh forget it, I don't want to lift weights and get big" I ask them "do I look big?" They still won't do weights!!!!

Spring cleaning... ugh... I did my kitchen last night when I was in calculus studying procrastination mode. It's a room by room torture chamber, my apartment lately. Anyways keep it up, and that other thing too. hehe.

thanks, that was what I was doing procrastinating, however, when I started reading last night, I started to panic realizing how much I still have to memorize! LOL. Writing my plan of action today to get it all done.

Kay I am officially a DORK. I wrote down the interview time for 2:00 and it was at 1:00. got there and the person who was going to interview me left. I swear it was at 2:00, I was sooo embarrased. I phoned him and emailed him when I got home to apologize but he hasn't phoned me back. arrrr.
 
He phoned me back, I am not a dork or maybe I am we don't know who screwed up but we rescheduled for tuesday and he wants someone else to sit in with him for the interview :worried: oh well, I've got what i got and if they don't like it toooooo bad.

Hubby is going on the road again starting saturday.

Yeah, they are both being retarded at this point. The board wants to force them back, which is stupid cause two years ago they locked them out. They need to fire the board and the union head that are doing the negotiations. Conflict of personalities at this point. As well, in august 70 unions are renegotiating there contracts so everyone wants to see what happens with this one.

I want them to go back but not to be forced cause that won't solve anything. But the board head is really putting down the teachers and even writing nasty letter to the parents about them "how they are keeping the chidlren out of school and it is their fault" so I want her gone!

Low low impact while pushing a stroller, up hill both ways in the snow LOL

Getting in and out of those big trucks I slipped and it isn't doing to well. :rolleyes: I may try some cardio today or maybe tomorrow.

Trucks are expensive.

Thanks, trying to take it easy, revamping my diet again in case of no workouts this week. thank god my MRI is next month, it is now getting really frustrating.

New truck! and a big enough one to fit 6 people LOL

The Arnold was a good time -- wish you could've been there even just for a while! Hung out with Bunz, Duck, Treil and Sassy -- met superqt... never did find Roons, though! :( Sad about that but I tried and tried!

Do what you can about the gym -- take it easy, get better. We know you will bounce back quickly but make sure you're healed up first. :)

haven't got the new truck yet but thanks! Glad you had a great time, I do wish I could of been there! To bad you couldn't find roons, I want all juicy and non juicy details reported to me by tonight, and preferrably with pictures! LOL.

I don't know of much juice at all -- we're pretty mellow folks. :) I mean, they might start to trash me on the side but I don't think I armed them with enough ammo to do so. :evil:

I was so smart that I remembered to grab my digital camera in Florida as I was walking out my door... and then took it out on the plane to take a shot of Ulter and I... and the batteries were dead.

Yes, I'm a total :nerd: I wasn't happy about that.. but some of the other ladies got some cute shots I'm sure we can share. :)

Oh my fucking goodness!!!

Sat down at the kitchen chair and the fucking thing broke from under me (yeah I know ha ha) The legs all came out and the wood split in half I think I bruised my ribs, ass and arm. Thank god the kids didn't sit on it.

Then I went to go check on supper and pulled on the oven door, and it fucking came off and stainless steel front came off and the glass almost broke.

Thanks, question for you, woke up this morning, lower back and butt feel like they are smooshed together (I guess compressed is the better word). Will my regular stretches do the trick? The pain has never felt this way before.
 
Back is done again, I can't sleep again, can't walk again, and I can't sit again. Pretty sure running or falling out of the chair (lol) did me in. Will return to logging when it gets better.

U do what suggested?

probably falling on butt could have placed it into spasm... Have to break the spasm pain cycle. Keep doing what suggested!!! If you have to every hour.

I did it last night and I wil continue today, thanks I appreciate your suggestions a lot! I am going to be doing a lot of walking today, I hope that won't make it worse? or will it make it better?

so I woke up this morning and had to roll out of bed literally, but I did my stretchs and feel a bit better (thank you treil). No running today, but going to get my weights in and take the kids to the park. I also think that is a contributing factor.

My oldest girl (she is 4) organized a block park party and everyone went yesterday, all the parents stood around and I was the only one playing with the kids lifting them up, then I smacked my head on the monkey bars LOL, HUGE lump there anyways, probably didn't help my situation.

Another thing that pissed me off this morning, diet has been squiky clean, doing cardio again and the scale has gone up. WTF.

But I feel skinnier, even though, my pants and clothes still are tight, sooo I don't know, I know it isn't good old auntie yet, but I guess I will see next week what happens.

RE what T was saying. I know, when I don't work out consistently, my tendonitis has a tendency to flare up. Barring injury or overuse, anyways.

Thanks, just finished playing sponge bob monopoly on the floor and I can't move. arrrrr, I feel like I need one of those beepers around my neck (I have fallen and I can't get up) LOL.

I actually never saw the movie or the show but my kids love it, I got so screwed up playing the game cause I didn't know the names, (so I just started cheating) and the yfound out (yup, I know, great influence lol) so we started chanting and screaming when someone threw the dice "mommy, go to jail, mommy go to jail" LOL and on another totally off topic note, LOL, I made daughter a sponge bob cake with flower sprinkles all over it for her birthday last year LOL.

Not good, still stretching first thing in the morning. I feel prego again with my back. I still have to see if I can get into the chiro.

I think, in my case, it's because of too much time off. I haven't lifted since , I think, Wednesday of last week. Done a bit of cardio on the bike, but too much down time is not good for me.

I am beyond frustration right now. I printed off my old workouts, looked at them and I am fucked, I can't do all of that right now, arrr. I don't know what to do to be effective enough for weight loss and strength.


and of course the majority of my problem is in my my legs, ass and stomach. go figure.

I am banging my head against a huge brick wall right now.

THen I have my wonderful friends who tell me to not care about what I eat just watch portion sizes and be happy with the way I look cause I am not as big as them. (what do I say to that?!) Noooo, I am not big, but I have goals and I want to achieve them again, I see nothing wrong with that.

I have some serious re-evaluating to do about my workouts cause nothing is working for me. I plan one thing and my back gets screwed up, I plan another thing and the same friggin thing happens, AHHHHH.

If I don't plan then how am I going to workout, do you mean just go downstairs or to the gym and do whatever everyday without any planning???? you have me curious.

It would be a test cause I plan EVERYTHING. But then how am I to measure my progress...see now I am have an axiety attack just thinking about not planning. LOL

1 set of 40 fist over head crunches
1 set of 30 bicycles
1 set of v up things I did 4! (and they all rejoiced LOL)


Go on treadmill for 40 minutes doing whatever I feel up to when I do it!

40 minutes, 430 calories burned YAHOOOOO! this morning, before I ate



Study for two or more hours tonight check, check
take the kids to the library. (tomorrow)

LOL in there LMAO. Today is a day of a lot of great changes. The one statement you made to me this weekend really hit home, thank you :heart:

I realize that my back is fucked and there is nothing I can do about it at the moment except what I am already doing (and the sheet when SBT emails me it :qt: ) so your right DIET is so very crucial right now, I have been eating clean but not 6 meals a day so that has to change. so with that being said, I am going back to posting progress pics every two weeks to keep accountable and celebrate the change, even if it is little!

Thanks, my bulking wasn't quite the same as yours this winter. I bulked without exercising (I was storing my fat, the winters are cold here) LOL

Morning cardio
20 min treadmill 4.5 for to minutes/5.5 for one minute/and repeat 210 cals burned

Followed by home schooling for my son, teachers have now been out for 4 weeks, now they are fighting over what kind of mediator to get :rolleyes:

chest/biceps
3x8
barbell press
push ups
incline flys
DB press
concentration curl
twist curl

I didn't do any of that, I found a cool website that has elastic band exercises, a whole bunch of them and got excited so I worked on my back and biceps, did a little chest cause I forgot what I was working on. LOL. Got excited to see the back exercises, especially for home, been looking everywhere for some different ones that don't use the cables at the gym. I have a feeling I am going to be sore tomorrow just from doing a different type of exercise. I have to remember to relax my neck more. But cool!!!

Oh yeah did abs too, bicycles/fist over head

Also went on a two hour walk with the kids, that was really fun, we played "I spy" and let them go on a rage in the puddles, laundry day tomorrow! :) My pants are just black LOL

Oh CK2006.....that has to be a pain in the butt for you...schooling amoung everything else. Mine are out of school today..but it is gonna be 70 degrees so they are outside playing

Release the hounds........ it is -2 here but this afternoon we are going for a very long long long walk LOL. It is hard right now because we don't have a yard or fence yet, I can't wait for the summer!!!!!
 
I used to think I wanted to be a teacher when I was 6 or 7...
When I had my girls...who were called the terrorists by in laws...(no wonder they WERE, nota re inlawas anymore..LOL)...
I once said if they were kids from his previous marriage...I would have already left...
I satute you for being able to home school them!!!

yeah but at my school I allow corporate punishment LOL, just joking. My kid is as tall as me and he is only 11, so it doesn't work so well LOL.

Thanks, I know he misses school very much so I gotta get his brain moving again, and I think he is enjoying it.
