whats up brothas...
I go to BJs on a weekly basis, i buy the Berkeley and Jensen canned chicken and about 6 pnds of chicken breast for the week.

anyway, i just noticed that the protein says 13 mg, and the serving size per can is 5 servings. ...is that possible? its a huge can and i eat two-three of these a day to help fulfill my protein needs. is it a misprint? all that chicken and doesnt even equal near one gram?

LOL mG. Unless it's not chicken it's probably a misprint.

Certainly a misprint

Anyway canned chicken tastes like sh*t
I'd better have tuna

i was eating a ton of tuna, after awhile i couldnt stomach it anymore, the smell was making me dry heave!

too much salt in those canz

I could never eat canned chicken. I also have a repulsion towards tuna fish.

Only chicken breasts and tuna filets.

There is entirely too much sodium in canned chicken or tuna. The label might be right if its grams. That is 65 grams of protien per can. 10 oz of chickeb breast should provide that. How many oz is in a can?

Kirkland has some canned chicken breast at Costco. Sodium doesn't seem that bad in it compared to other canned stuff but that isn't saying much. It tastes great with some mayo and cracked pepper.

why dont you just chop up some of the chicken breasts after there cooked, mix in some fat free miricle whip and use that as your canned chicken. its already been said to many times but to much sodium in canned chicken. i know you said you dont like canned tuna, but you can get very low sodium tuna and i just mix it with that fat free miricle whip and tastes great to me.

I buy the canned chicken from sams and keep it at the office. Strain it and mix it with Uncle Bens ready rice, (brown) when I forget to bring food to work. Yea, it's salty. Not too bad in comparison to many options at the office. Just strain it.

well i switched from the canned chicken to the 10lb bag of chicken breast. At least i know its healthier. thanks for the input boys, i appreciate.

Unwell, if thats the frozen stuff it's high in sodium also. You can buy boneless breasts at Sams for $2.50 lb. Then just freeze what you can't cook.
