Candy Postworkout

I was looking over a few articles about postworkout supplementation and what to eat/drink and everything like that and from what I understand Sweettarts are an excellent choice...

Their ingredients are mainly dextrose and maltodextrin which are both excellent at replenishing glycogen stores.

Opinions?
:D:D

Understood- however, doesnt the particular type of carbohydrate make a pretty big difference.

(e.g.- dextrose & maltodextrin are supposed to be #1 for replenishing glycogen)

If you like sweetarts then why not eat them after your workout which is the best time to eat sugars.........I think they are just as effective as ultra fuel, etc.

Ill be eating them postworkout bro. Two full rolls contain 98g of carbs from dextrose & maltodextrin. Damn pretty good huh!?

I'm confused. A trainer at my gym told me that the best post-workout meal (from real foods) is juice.... apple, grape.... whatever. He said "Any kind of juice, really." And then he said to get protein from a good quality source, and mix it with a complex carb.

Yet people here said unless it's grape juice, lose the fruit and juice.

I'm confused. I don't take supplements.... I can only eat REAL foods. So what should I be having post-workout? I wish I could get a definitive answer.... (I'm cutting, btw)
