I have my Glucorell generally 30 min prior to a meal, depending on my daily schedule... so yes, I had it when I listed it prior to the shake times vary daily as my schedule has been ...

and I don't think you would ever list a Firm tape for your workout lol

Re: *Bunny* 2005 Log

you are right....so why are you doing it?

Just curious
Thank you for bringing this up...and this is a general response to those that follow so closely as well...

Since I have SMOKED way past my initial goals, I have begun to play around and find new things that work or don't work for my body.

I look great, feel great and it's such a fantastic time to play with things while I'm loving life, my health and my figure...

Best thing I can do is learn how my body works and what works best for me. :)

Also, I am pursuing some training certs, basically for general knowledge but who knows where any of those roads will lead...

I will continue to post in my log for now and absorb even more INCREDIBLE info that EF has offered me.... I LOVE it and cannot thank ya'll enough ...

Re: *Bunny* 2005 Log

That's awesome Buns! You definitely SMOKED the goals! Getting that training cert is a good base to start from for you. You've already seen a little of what things like carb cycling can do for you. Where do you want to go next with it all?

Re: *Bunny* 2005 Log

Sometimes people have everything they need at their fingertips, and in my case right in front of them... but they just don't think certain things are right for them.

They are entitled to do what they feel is right, and keep this industry rich and plentiful with the more diets that arise each month/year etc :) Not my $$$ :D

No worries. I am here to help those that want to be helped and will continue to do my best

Re: *Bunny* 2005 Log

Can someone please explain exactly what carb cycling is, when to do it, how long, and the benefits. I see this term quite a bit bit I'm unsure exactly what it is.
Thanks,
rachel
p.s. Bunny you look totally hot!

Re: *Bunny* 2005 Log

carb cycling is a trickery way of getting the body to squeeze out a couple of extra pounds of fat buyt using carbohydrate manipulation and a zig zag in calories...

unless you are 12% of below........I think a constant intake of carbs will work best

Thank you, very much. :rose:

I didn't understand the mechanics of Carb cycling either, but a few fantastic and extremely helpful people explained in detail the benefits, and after a few initial freak outs, I bought into it, and posted some pics of my progression...

Well, I'll have to go buy one that works... so we'll see

Because you're generally cold and you've gone through medical treatments there's a good chance you don't have normal thyroid function. But that's surely on your blood tests from the last few visits. So you might want to ask for a copy or inquire at your docs office if your thyroid is ok.

exactly.......

..the morning temp is a pretty good indicator as to if the thyroid is acting optimally.....if's its in the normal range..then there arent really any dietary manipulations that can be done...I requested it now as it is just a few days after a carb-up..so I would expect it to be close to the 'normal" range

Carb cycling is a fanatasic thing, as I am playing with it now too ;)
But it's also something you need to be careful with, cause if you don't do it properly your body can start acting up.

And MHH, I just want to tell you, (well I know you know this already anyway) but I just want to say I think you're a truly amazing woman, you're a beauitful person inside and out, and I'm happy to call you my friend. I love you girl, and I'll always be here for ya    :rose: :rose: :rose:

Yes, I am glad I tried it (finally) thanks to Shadow's push....

And thank you R., I needed to hear that more than you know at this VERY moment. I'm actually pretty choked up... thank you :rose:

Re: *Bunny* 2005 Log

Anything you start doign below 12% bodyfat should only be for specifically short period of time, i.e. contest prep or photo shoots or I dunno, special day at the beach or something, weddiing?? But then come out of it immediately after. There I agree if 12% is a maintenance point, then the diet should be adjusted to support that.

I am about to learn this myself... by I'm assuming is has to do with thyroid function/fat burning. You may want to ask Shadow

I didnt see the question

Back in the days before sophisticated blood tests....bbers used moring basal temp as reference for thyroid function......

Low carbs can drop Thyroid in 3-4 days....that is why I recommened thatyou add in a carb cheat MEAL every 4th day.
