Now, under S's plan -- he prefers you do HIIT only about 3x a week right? And in the am on an empty stomach?? If your schedule allows you may want to do your best to split up your CV & weights, so you don't puke all the time.....just a thought.....it might have been too much all at once for you....

Well I had an incident :(

I did your arm workout Shadow (6 sets for bi's and 6 sets for tri's of various exercises), and then I tried to do HIIT directly afterwards.

On my 3rd interval I got super nauseus and I threw up in the bathroom at the gym :sick: my thighs were burning so badly I couldn't stand up for a few minutes. I think I might not have warmed up enough on the bike?

I was feeling pretty good at the beginning actually, during my jog before the arm workout I ran for 5 minutes at a pretty fast clip and wasn't even winded which surprised me.

6/12/05:

Meal 1 - 9:30am: Shake, 1.5 cups skim, 30g protein powder, glutamine, creatine, 2 fish oil caps

Meal 2 - 11:45am: Can of Tuna raw, handful almonds

ARM WORKOUT, HIIT CARDIO & VOMIT SESSION


Meal 3 - 2:30pm: Shake, 1 cup skim, 40g protein powder, glutamine, creatine

I hope this is working


Man, I don't find throwing up to be a normal thing AT ALL... you might want to switch to steady state cardio until you build your stamina up...

It happened to me one other time a few years ago the first time I ever did a set of 20 rep breathing squats with 225 pounds... it just teaches me where my limits are so I can get up to the brink and realize when I'm going too far the next time. I'm not really worried about it it just surprised me lol.

Jen, don't worry I will be patient. I am going to be the model student this summer, the new pintoca ;)

Pintoca we'll see how it goes, I've had good success with HIIT in the past, I think I was just more out of shape than I realized. However, if this happens again I will have to let up. Again I think it just taught me a boundary which is good.

Time for tuna & sweet potater :)

Also, was it hot in your gym today or something?? Sometimes @ my gym, when it's humid or all the armpits & a-holes have stunk the place up, it can get to me.....

Meal 5 7:20pm: 5 egg whites, handful FF cheddar cheese, chipotle tabasco :p, 1 TBSP hemp oil.

Meal 6 9:30pm: Chicken Breast

Meal 7 11:30pm: Chicken Breast, 1 TBSP ANPB, spinach salad balsamic vinegar

:) thanks, it was very boring lol

It appears that my waist is about a third of an inch smaller than last week, and I weigh somewhere 1-2 pounds less. ;)

I believe I'm due to take more pics tomorrow.

6/13/05:

Meal 1: Shake - 1.5 cups skim, 30g protein powder, glutamine/creatine

280 cals

Meal 2: Can tuna raw & 1 ounce almonds, 2 fish oil caps

335 cals

Meal 3: Quarter Chicken skin removed, spinach salad/1 TBSP lo-cal dressing, 5 strawberries

220 cals

Meal 4 5pm: Can of Tuna, 5 wheat ritz crackers, 1 TBSP flax oil, 3 fish oil caps

347 cals

LEG WORKOUT

Meal 5 8pm: Shake, 40g protein, 1.5 cups skim, glutamine, creatine

330 cals

Meal 6 9:30pm: 1/2 fillet salmon, salad with tons of different veggies & balsamic vinegar, 1/2 sweet potato

230 cals

Meal 7

1/2 chicken breast, 1 teaspoon hemp oil

110 cals

even though you ate the restaurant food, seems you came across "barely there" calorie-wise (like 1600ish???)

Don't sweat Bro, this is life, you have to deal with it (work, family, etc), just do yourt best
