BB BP sticking point

As far as lates go, the excercise I have just recently found hits lats the best for me is the one where the bar is between your legs, palms away, and you pull to your chest? (Can't remember the name.) Is that what you mean by chest supported?

You MIGHT could do a set or two of 2 board presses after you speed work too...maybe...just a thought.

After speed bench I have taken some heavier singles with progressively heavier weight...adding 1 board on each set.

If there is a pad to lay on...then that is a chest supported row. If you are doing the exercise completely free standing then it is a T-Bar row...but are great lat exercises. I would choose Chest Supported though because it takes the stress off the lower back.
 
wouldnt illegally wides be a good idea for that portion of the BP? just a thought but i would think your chest, delts would have more of a mechanical advantage there vs. tri's in the latter portion. 1 and 2 boards sound good too, just a thought on alternatives.
 
Thanks all very much for all the input. I think I have a plan to start with. (Speed work, 2 board press, lats and delts) Gee, should be easy...*LOL*
