Sterility comes from the environment that the product is made, the cleanliness of the implements, and the products themselves. If all of the above requirements are met and nothing has contaminated any of the steps, then your product will be sterile. BUT if you are unsure, always bake it, 250 degrees for 25 minutes (twice) is a good baseline.
Another thing to consider, if you run your product through a filter...it does NOT sterilize the product...it simply filters out the particles from solution. The filter is simply called a "sterile filter" becuse it is already sterile. It is NOT called a "Sterilizing Filter".
So remember, the only sterile products that can be made are in a sterile controlled environment...or sterilized by heat afterwards.
