Any Cigar smokers here?

My favorites are Cifuentes Partagas and Macanudos but I usually end up with Swishers due to my College student budget.

I am thinking about ordering some of those Havana Honeys(cigars).----Anyone ever tried 'em?

Thanks.

Been smoking a lot of Punch these days.

Cristo's are nice.
Like Mac's also.
Cohiba's are an all time favorite. They are hard to find.
Partigras are always up there.

Cohiba's are a pet project of Castro's.
His idea under his guidance...funded directly by the cuban goverment.

Used to work in a cigar shop. Smoked all kinds of cuban cigars. Favorite was a toss up between the Bolivar belicoso and the Monte Cristo 'A'.

Cleaner, you know about the Trinidad? It was the successor to the Cohiba as a pet project. For a long time, like the Cohiba, it came in only a Lonsdale shape. I never got hold of one, but apparently they are spectacular.

What my books tell me:

Very similar to Cohiba......

"This is what the world know about trinidad. The brand, or the cigar, because there is only one model, exists. The cigar has a simple gold band with "TRinidad" printed in black ...........The assumption is that the Trinidad was created for Fidel Castro, and only Castro, to be presented to visting dignitaries. Castro has denied the that he initiated such a project. Nonetheless, about twenty boxes of one hundred are produced each month at the El Laguito Factory."

That's the Trinidad alright. Occasionally, you can get ahold of them at auctions in Europe, where they fetch a ridiculously high price. Word has it that he was going to make it like the Cohiba - expand it out into new shapes and sizes, and then start a new pet project.
