i went shopping and got a few things that i wanted to ask advice on. 1st off is Splenda. I know its good stuff but here is what i am wondering. the ingredients are mainly dextrose and maltodextrin so could i possibly just add this stuff to a protein shake to make it a recovery shake. and if so the how much do you think i would need? next question....what is sucralose and is it bad for me?? i found this blue bunny sugar-free yogurt that tastes awesome but it has sucralose in it. should i be eating this?

oh yeah... I also bought this 100% real fruit spread to go on my natty PB sandwiches cause i just can't eat PB alone. it has no added sugars or preservatives in it so do you think its good to go?

splenda actually IS sucralose. for your shake, you can substitute it tsp for tsp, cup for cup for what you would do for sugar (or dextrose).

No, don't use splenda in your post-workout shake - it has little if any effect on blood glucose or insulin levels. The whole point of the post-workout shake is to spike insulin rapidly....
