I need some advice on this. I am under the impression that after lifting weights glycogen stores will be depleted and if you hit about 20 minutes or so of cardio it would be mostly fat burning. Is this true? Im sure it wouldnt be AS effective as AM cardio on an empty stomach because you havent gone 8+ hours or so without food but wouldnt it be ok as far as shedding some fat? ANy ideas on this would be appreciated. If I am a total dumb ass just let me know.

I'd like to know too! I can't seem to get up early enough to do cardio. I seem to wake up the wife and I pay for it later! She is a night person and expects me to stay up with her and I have to get up in the morning while she sleeps!

Alot of people do cardio after weights, because of depleted muscle glycogen, just as you suggest. I don' think there have been any studies done to see which method is better, but both am cardio on empty stomach, and cardio after weights should work. So pick the method that is most convenient for you. I've lost fat using both schemes.

LOL I HATE THE CARDIO BEFORE WEIGHTS, ITS GROSS AND MAKES ME WEAK AS HELL TOO. THANKS FOR THE REPLYS EVERYONE. I GUESS I WILL BE DOING CARDIO RIGHT AFTER LIFTING INSTEAD OF AM CARDIO.
