I lived that way for a while. I can't totally knock it, it's easy to pull down lots of protein and it's very convenient. And I was able to make some steady gains. Now that I'm eating normally, though, it's easy to see why we still refer to 'real' food. It's not yet possible to come close to what nature has done. The macro breakdown is really only part of the picture. It's all the micronutrients and still undefined values present in real food that makes the difference. Overall, I think that you'll end up looking healthier as well.
