When to start a cycle after surgery

How long after a surgery should a cycle begin? It will be a killer surgery and take about 4-6 months of recovery. At that time I plan to be on a cutting diet and do major amounts of cardio. Well, that's about all I would be able to do along with Physical therapy and leg extentions.

My goal is to get strong and possibly do a show in March '03. It will probably be one of the last BB shows I do because the politics suck. And I will be going to powerlifter. I have the physique now of a PLer, on the big side and strong as hell. Once they screw with my shoulder, I will be not as strong and back to square one.

I will be doing a cycle, but when is the problem. Any input is wonderful.

Depends. Medications that you are taking post-op can interact with AAS. Healing is your number one priority. However, anavar can help with wound healing, and deca with joint problems, so it is a very individual thing. FWIW, I had some rather severe joint surgery (multiple) and manage to talk my doc into a script for deca. But then I have known him about 20 years.

What exactly are your goals? It goes without saying that you should not use AAS to push the enevelope until you are fully healed.

Goals

The goals I want to achieve may not be attainable as soon as I want them. It would be nice to do a show Mar. '03, but with recovery time I'm looking at Dec. of this year. I don't really know if I'd be ready in 4 mos.

I had a discussion with my Orthopedist about AAS. He is a popular Univ. team physician. We had a wonderful chat about this and he asked me about my experiences. He also went into talking about being able to prescribe so they could be monitored, clean, and actually have in them what they're supposed to be.

Maybe that script of deca isn't too far off, LOL. I doubt it will happen, but it was nice to talk to a physician who actually cared. They usually look at you like you're some kind of freak. Thanks for responding... Torchy:)
