To Turn A Midget To A Man - ZgzaZ's Log -

jpt said:
at first i thought the amp02 was great but then like al said i had to cut back. 3/4 through my workout i felt like i needed to take a break b/c the pump was too crazy. i enjoyed it while it lasted though...as for the creatine i only noticed a difference when i was training 30 sec rests btwn sets...helped with endurance a little at the end of the workout.. didn't do a thing for me though when i was trying to make prs every week.

are those all pr's? good shit bro!

I hear ya, I'll give the full bottle a try and see how it treats me. Everything from 2 weeks ago here on out is a PR, so hopefully I can keep them up for a few more weeks before I have to think about deloading.

Week 10 Day 3 - Dec 2nd -

Squats - 4x5 - 150x5, 175x5, 200x5, 225x5
1x3 – 255x3, 260x3
1x8 - 200x8
Flats 4x5 - 145x5, 170x5, 195x5, 220x5
1x3 - 250x3
1x8 - 195x8
Rows 4x5 - 105x5, 125x5, 145x5, 165x5
1x3 - 190x3
1x8 - 145x8
Barbell Curls - 3x8 – ez-curl + 65lbs
Tricep Pushdowns - 3x8 - 150lb straight bar

Very happy with today, I've been making 5lb jumps on squats, today did an easy 10lb jump, great for me at week 10...my flats were solid at 250x3, and my rows were a little easier at 190x3 than last week at 185x3. Honestly, I think the amp02/puremcc may be helping slightly, however I don't want to jump to any conclusions yet until I get a little deeper into the bottle.

Week 11 - Day 1 - Dec 5th -

Squats - 5x5 – 140x5, 170x5, 200x5, 230x5, 260x5
Flat Bench - 5x5 - 150x5, 175x5, 200x5, 225x5, 250x5
Rows - 5x5 - 115x5, 130x5, 150x5, 170x5, 190x5
Underhand/Overhand Grip Pullups - 3x8xbodyweight

A terrible workout today, not because the weights were too heavy, but because I felt like throwing up from the very first set until the last. I wanted to quit after my 1st set of squats, but pushed through and threw up in my mouth about 4 times, haha! Didn't want to quit and miss a whole workout. However, everything is still moving, don't feel like I'll get stuck for another few weeks on anything. Btw, every lift still a PR from here out.

The fact that you were able to persevere past and make it through is something to be proud of and the kind of thing that separates the people who succeed from the people who don't.

Congrats bro.

Would've been a lot easier to use it as an excuse to miss a workout.

You have to quit talking about getting stuck - you are setting your self up for failure. I have trained for over 20 weeks w/ out needing to deload and I bet you may be able to as well.

Everything is about to get really heavy, but you need to have the mindset of an animal to get the work done - just fucking lift, right!

Thanks for the advice Al, I was actually tryin to do the opposite in my mind... Every week I keep telling myself I'm not going to get stuck for another couple weeks, a couple weeks from then, I keep telling myself the same thing... I've been doing it since week 5 or 6, but I see your point. Since you didn't get stuck till week 20, I'm not getting stuck till at least 21! hows that!!?! :p
