If you are comfortable running on pavement, there isn't really see a problem with it.
Do you have a heart monitor? You are probably one of those people who can "clear their head" with a good run? (good lord, if I had to run I think I would keel over! lol)
If so....your body is probably pretty adjusted to your running. Try sprinting every few minutes or so and then return to your normal running gate. Kick it up a notch! Try 5 30 second sprints in that 30 minute run.
