Squat Question

Hello All,

Do you guys seem to work one leg more than the other when perfoming squats? My right leg gets more pumped when doing this exersise even after experimenting with different foot placements. It's like the right leg is the "anchor" for the movement. Could this be harmful down the road when more weight is added?

I had a similar feeling 15 years ago when I started squatting. On leg is weaker than the other. Eventually they will even out. No big deal.
 
Bingo-Genarr3 once again with sound advice. I've always done unilateral movements for legs anyway when possible and its made a big difference. I play soccer and being able to shoot hard and accurate with both feet has made me quite the dangerous striker...almost Ronaldoesque.
 
Hey bro,

This is the wrong board in which were you can ask that stupid question. Anyone whose is seriously looking to build freaky mass has got to do Squats. Sure if you want to be just buffed and toned then leg-presses is OK but if you dont want to then you if you go elsewhere man becase this site is hardcore and you got to squat to build mass.

Yeah bro I get the same problem. One leg gets more pumped than the other. Lately i've been concentrating on putting more weight and power on my weaker leg. Seems to be working ok but like genarr3 said, one legged leg presses are the way to go.
