I wasn’t going to post this, but what the hey…maybe someone else will have/had a similar experience.

My weight hasn’t been dropping the way it did when I began the project the first time. A while back I wondered if it was the creatine / water retention, but it’s defiantly not.

If you’re a guy……you may want to stop reading HERE


















Ok…..I haven’t had a period since the end on March & I’m having some serious pain in my lower back /stomach. No, I’m not pregnant, and have done 2 packs of 3 of the tests to confirm this. I’ve had problems with this before…dating back to Jan 2000 when I had 3 surgeries done. Than again in Nov 2004 I had 1 more surgery done. Anyway, not to get to long here, but I had a doctors appointment on Tues morning, and he thinks I have to go for a DNC.

So, off for an ultra sound today (Thurs). This was my first time getting this done, and though there’s nothing really to see, it was neat.
Ok, here’s where it ties into my training & journal…..I weigh 138 lbs right now (heaviest I have EVER been) & to be honest my pants feel like they are gonna blow. I haven’t messed up my diet (expect I had a nice dinner on Sat night), and my training has been ok. My poor tummy feels like something needs to explode from it…normally by Thursday I feel pretty darn good.
The nurse told me they would need to take some blood & that my doctor would be calling me.

First, I’m thinking oh shit….whats the point of training now? ….may has well wait till after all this bullshit is done. I figure if I write this in my journal, I will stick with things, and maybe not get as discouraged.

So, I’m going to be posting my weight, BF etc. I know this really isn’t a huge deal, but mentally it is for me. I hate not seeing changes. Anyway, STFU & train right?

Been in a very similar situation, and I think I would've went nuts if I caved on my diet/training/activity. Just be careful not to hurt anything and I would suggest keeping active.:rose:

Did you find that after everything was better, you noticed changes right away, or was it a delay, and changes came later.

Question....

I have all these great new supps.......should I use them, or weight till this is over with?

I was thinking about using the T-rex, Levorex, CB, r-ala, mono etc & leaving the YES & CEE & glucorell for later....what do you think?

Off the top of my head, IMO, the Levorex and Glucorell-R are AWESOME health supplements alone, I see no problems with those two FOR sure. I might suggest cutting the Fat burners and CEE at least 2 days before the procedure...Lemme get some confirmation. *To be continued*

I'm right here with you! I lost my period since Jan. I go to the doc tomorrow. I had a ultrasound done when I was 17 and they found a cyst it supposedly went away. I guess I'll see what happens tomorrow. Just do what you can every bit of exercise will help you not only physically but mentally!

Note to self…..

Looking through my log, I realize I make too many spare of the moment decisions. Everyday I am rushing together a meal, not remembering to take supps etc.

So, today after work I am picking up a food scale, glad containers & baggies. Stating Monday I will be making sure I am prepared the night before & I will write meal #1, 2 etc. I will put my supps in the baggies & write what time I plan on taking them on the bags.

Also, my workout times, eating times are all scattered & messed up. Right now I work 1 day, the next night…..Starting June 1, I will be changing the schedule so I work 1 week of days, 1 week of nights. Hopefully, this way I will have everything planned, and won’t be so disorganized.

Next, I plan on doing to bed much earlier & getting my workout in before the day begins. This way, if I’m stuck at work, I already did what had to be done.

Great Job Skit... That's basically what I do as well...

If I venture off my routine (which throws off my day :rolleyes: grrr) I bag supps individually with the times on them, and my alarm on my phone goes off every time I need to feed, etc. :)

Way to get organized :D
 
Dayum Buns - you are hardcore! LOL! I just carry my main supply of stuff in my cooler, which I *NEVER* leave home without, and a 2ndary supply in my purse. I can't put somethign in my mouth until I've had my:

- 2 EFAs
- 1 greens pill
- 2 digestive enzymes

How is the tummy handling the T-Rex with 1/2 banana? a little better? I've noticed you tried a few days with 1/2 nana then back to T-Rex on empty...did you notice a difference? Any preference? Some days I was fine, but others, I needed the nana or else... ;)

Oh, and if you haven't already done it, you might want to update your measurements/pics...for your own reference of course (post what you want, if anything...good reference point for you down the line)

I really like the T-rex :) ....yup, everyday is different. Soon, I'll be ok on an empty tummy :)

Yesterday I went for a hysterosalpingogram (HSG). This is where dye is injected to see if there is any scar tissue or blockage in the fallopian tubes / pelvic area. This was not the comfortable thing in the world & I took the day off.

I have my diet written down, so I’ll post it when I get a little minute.

Anyway, the test determined that I do have scar tissue & adhesions in & around the fallopian tubes. Sounds pretty gross, but the dr said it’s a good thing to detect them earlier.

So, on June 16th I go for a DNC. He doesn’t know if this will correct the entire problem, so a couple weeks after I go back for another HSG, and if needed laparoscopy.

Basically know what your dealing with, and the proper measures will be taken to correct or help the situation as best it can be ...:rose:

Thinking happy/positive thoughts...:heart:

Keep focused and that pretty little head occupied...
 
Whoa. Girl you are going thru some challenges. Its good you are finding out the source of the problems though. The last thing you need to feel bad about is your diet / training progress. Right now is when you need to explore the less tangible values of a diet & training program. As long as you aren't hurting yourself w/ the training, that sort of exertion kicks up the endorphins, keeps the blood flowing and generally keeps your body honed for the types of recovery work you could be looking at with any of this surgery or just the general stresses you are going thru now. Eating tight will keep you from fallign into the emotional eating which tends to just exacerbate things. Generally when you are doing everything right but not getting the results you expect your body is goign thru somethign that you haven't accounted for in your program.

Definitely keep tracking things and of course let us know how you are doing and toss in a few cyber hugs every couple posts ;)

Thought I'd post before this gets lost on another page.

I have not given up (although I am being VERY slack)

As I mentioned before, I have to have surgery on the 16th, it's a bit more complicated than I was hoping. The doc has put me on pain medication, which has somewhat effected my diet. IT upsets my stomach, and I have to snack pretty much all day or I will feel sick, sweaty, and dizzy. It also makes me tired, so I ahve been slepping ALOT! As far as training, I'm not suposed to lift anything over 15 lbs until 2-3 weeks after surgery. I joked about 15lb bicep curls being ok then....um no! He meant if I HAD to lift something, it can't be over 15lbs. Also, he suggested that I don't do any intense cardio (light cardio - walking is ok after 1 week mark)

He suggested that Post-op I treat this like I had a hernia. (lay down flat 1st week, walking in week 2, maybe some swimming towards the end of week 2) It seems totally bizarre to compare it to this, but I will be friggn happy when everything is done!

Anyway, I have been trying to make healthy selections, and have been trying to do a little something everyday. Even if it's just walking, it's keeping me sane. I feel extremely gross, but I am getting excited for all this bs to end.

So, I know this was long, but I tought I better update, so you all don't think I gave up.

Today, I’m just eating what I want (which is sort of what I’ve been doing anyway). I’m not supposed to eat anything after 8pm.

I can’t wait to get back on track!
