Rippetoe Questions

So I am a newbie in working out. I have only been lifting for a couple years, but less/more importantly, I haven't followed a strict schedule. However now that it's the summer and stuff, a friend suggested that I try out rippetoes. I looked it up and thought it was a good idea, but i had some questions about it like how do you guys do your dieting? FIrst off, 3000 calories is a ton and even then, what the hell do you eat to eat that much lol?
 
goal is to get
175lb for bench
275lb for squat
275 for deadlift

i dont think my diet is really good right now. I just eat whatever I see xD
 
Give us your stats, we need those before anything is recommended. What is your history with weight training, is there one?

Bodyweight?
Height?
Max lifts?
 
I am 16 and I started lifting about 2-3 years ago. I am 5'3 and weigh 140lbs(not very impressive i know i have bad genes). My max lifts last I checked were 155lb for bench and squat 275 both with 1x3, but I am going to have to take a week and find out my maxes to get a more accurate idea of where I am and where I want to go as soon as I can hit the weights again and it's just been such a long time since i did deads...
