?protein shake after wieghts,before cardio?

hi hopefully someone here can clear this up,i read that some people drink a protein shake after thier wieght training session,right before they go on to do cardio.when iam done training i cant stand doing cardio because iam already tired and feel if i go on cardio right after training i will lose muscle.is this true?i cant do cardio 1st thing in the am because of work.i wont to shed some bodyfat so i have to do it.what do you guys think?

You hit the weights. do a cardio session to keep the fire burning. take some cardio breeze if your tired. then drink your shake.
 
i,m not sure what you're asking here. you want to shed fat, hate cardio after lifting, cant do cardio in the a.m... i'm lost. It is best to drink prot. shakes directly after a workout, this is true, however light to moderate cardio (15-20 mins) after a workout - then a shake will not hurt you any. Almost 100% of "shedding fat" depends on how clean you're eating ( caloric intake). Cardio only speeds the weight loss process.
 
Just drink your Shake after your done with "everything"....................
 
I limit my post-workout to 30-45 mins. Anything longer than that will suppossedly reduce gains. I do not drink my shake until after I am done with everything.

I am usually pooped after working out but I dig deep and do cardio. My attitude is I have to give 100% - nothing less - especially when on cycle.
 
i do ten minutes of cardio before i hit the weights it gets my heart rate up then when i continue to hit the weights for the next 45-hour i feel im burning fat and building mucsle at the same time, then i get a protien shake within the half hour...then the evening i do about 30 mins cardio

p/s my work outs are in the a/m before work its not the most convientiont but going to bed earlier so i can get up and buff in the morning is jus one of those sacrifices
