Post-Workout - Changing theories???

When you injest fats, they take hours to get to your blood stream because they travel to the liver in lymph rather than blood. Once in the blood, they are not nearly as sensitive to insulin as glucose is (GLUT 4, the major glucose transporter which is insulin sensitive does not move lipid). Point being, if you injest fats with sugar, the insulin spike will not affect fats getting into your cells.
 
Excactly faller.Fats won't have been digested by the time the insulin spike is there.Fats take hours to digest.

As for the banana,the fructose content does change.
A more ripe,darker banana is mostly glucose.
Α green banana is almost 60% fructose.

My PWO shake is homemade, and it beats all commercial shakes.

You can add more stuff to make your shake better.

I just did "protein factory." It's fun. I mix up shit into my protein powder. Basically, I start with some good whey protein, and add stuff. This one's got designer whey as a base with bcaa's (lower cortisol) , colostrum (^ recovery), pyruvate (^ mood, energy, ^ fat loss), v12 grape flavor, creatine monohydrate, CEE, maca, avena sativa, a little ma huang (^ protein synth), a little chocamine, cinnamon (for insulin sensitivity) and fenugreek (increase glucose capacity PWO, just like arginine) (I just use ground fenugreek seed from my grocer).

I use this to wash down my life extension mix (good for many things), vitamin c (lower cortisol), selenium.

I never use dextrose or carb powders. Sometimes oats, often banana, sometimes berries. Just my preference for natural food.

Fair trade organic bananas are good, and taste delicious and you get some potassium, too.

A slice of fat free, organic wheat raisin bread is good with that.

Good info on banana ripeness and fructose/glucose content.

I feel like getting out my tie dyed shirt and sitting in a field and smoking some weed, while talking about capitalist pigs. hehe. In all seriousness, this shit is pretty well thought out. Looks like you covered all the bases. Keep grinding away bro!
 
No weed. Weed affects steroid metabolism. This has been proven with scientific research. Plus it seems to have a really estrogenic affect on my hypothalamus. Turns me into a whiny bitch. My personal experience.

Anyway, it's a good mix of shit, but for PWO only, you could ditch the stimulants. I drink this crap all day long. I get about 10g maca per day. Great for PCT. Oh yeah, I take other stims and ketotifen at night. Fuck, I"m in PCT and I'm up 8 lbs in 2 weeks. I love PCT. The best challenge: coming off.

Makavelli- are you using the plain vitargo or the stuff with creatine in it? I'm trying like the dickens to find the plan, but all I can find is + creatine.

I use the Vitargo with creatine, but I know that the plain stuff just made it to the US last week.
