in their eyes... I went to the gym yesterday with my friend and we started to do are back/traps routine. Needless to say it was friday and every frat kid had to get a good pump in their measily chest and bis before going out to the bars/clubs:rolleyes: .

So we started of with weighted chins, got a few stares when I pulled out the belt and added weight onto the chain.

Went to do bentover rows and got a few more stares and a few comment of holy shit when we started to rep out 3 nice and easy sets.

Then proceeded to do cleans 3x6 nice and easy though my partner puked some water and I started to get real agitated. You know that hyper feel when you breeze through a set. People started to back away at this point and ask their friend what the hell is wrong with us:) .

Then 3 sets of deadz for fun for high reps, decent weight. I do have to admit though I got each set done with authority with only a few torn calouses. This is when peole started to look in fear, I mean you think they never saw the bar bend and someone laugh while they were doing it;) . After a few sets of heavy shrugs, we went home and ate tons of food...

Ahhhhh, another day, another person scared....

i know what you mean about the gym being packed on friday with once a weekers doing curls and some bench

i usualy get my best workout friday , they fuel the fire

Maybe it was the fact you had your short- shorts on doing deads, and you were 'coaching' you partner from behind lol.

Show me one person who trains back with deads, rows, and chins. It is rare. . .instead you will see the pencil necks performing bench presses and curls. As for legs. . .these folks have never trained their legs.

I hate those hat-fuckers. If they showed a willingness to actually work hard, even on their dinky curls, I wouldn't dislike them quite so much. But they can't even do THAT right!

Cool :) What kind of poundages were you hoisting?

The best weighted chin I've ever seen in person was a 180 lb. guy pulling a 120 lbs. DB for chins to the lower chest. He was not a huge guy--almost six feet tall--but his lats were sickly wide. If only he'd do some deadlifts...

Anyway, you da man, Lord S! Like I've said before, I would REALLY hate to put on the gloves and face off with you. Should I take up boxing and train in your area, go easy on me sparring, k?
;)

Damn, Friday nights at my gym are dead. Maybe 10 people in there lifting. The rest of the 9,000,000 are probably out drinking their faces off.

But it's cool, it's those 10 people I have some respect for ... who'd rather hit the gym than go out, drink, and not remember where the hell they'd been.

shit i wish people at my gym feared me. people at my school fear me, but thats not the same. although the regulars at my gym respect me for my dedication, which is a very cool feeling to have some giant chatting with you about yer progress :D
