One side of my chest is way bigger than the other... why???

Hello,
One side of my chest is noticably larger than the other... I don't know why this would be... most of the work outs I do are Dumbell work outs... AND, when I'm doing dumbell bench, on heavier weights, my right side gets the weight up easier...
is there a way to fix this...
My guess is that my right side IS stronger, thus in order to stiumlate growth it takes more weight... but since I can only do as much as the left will allow, the left side gets stimulated while the right side is just along for the ride...
Is this a good theory, and what do I do??? start lifting more on one side than the other???
Or should I just stick with it... and hope that the right side catches up!
thanks,
rock

Lemme guess it's the side that you are handed example your right handed so your right arm tris and shoulder muscles are stronger than your left so more of the weight is being lifted by your arm tris and front delts than the pec. I have a simular problem i am working on now my right pec is less thick so i've been trying to do one set on my hammerstregnth machines with just that side problem is this. My right front delt and tri's are also growing those muscles are less obvious to see the difference but my chest is getting more symetrical. I think strick form is a must in avoiding problems like these. just my .02

Most "newbies" (less than 5 years of hard lifting) have this kind of problem. Just train hard and grow and don't sweat the small stuff. Just grow!!! Switch to a barbell too...and strengthen your tris.
