oh this is just disgusting. i read this somewhere to make this and i totally regret it now. heres what you do. take 1 pound of cottage cheese, add a bunch of milk and a bunch of chocolate syrup. blend it up and wallah. i added in 2 scoops of peanut butter too. the things i do for 72 grams of protein.

dude if you want a good shake do this:

2 servings anpb(1 if you want less fat/cals)
2 cups skim milk (protien in this!)
1/2 cup oats
1 serving Ovaltine (some sugar but no fats)
1 banana
optional : 1 tablespoon flax oil. olive oil, etc
1 scoop whey(2 if ya want)

taste good as hell and you will get tons of cals and protien!
if you are cutting split it all in half.

the basics for this shake came from *sk

1.5 cup raw soy milk (4 carb but 3 are fiber)
2 eggs (raw)
2 tablespoons of all natural peanut butter
tablespoon or so of some artificial sweetner.
teaspoon of cinnamon

low insulinogenic shake, w/cinnamon which has glucose clearing properties.
I thought of this one night and tried it, I thought it tasted very good. sort of like a PB-EGGNOG I guess you could leave out the PB if you just want an eggnog type drink.

1.5 raw soy milk has GOT to be more than 4 carbs!!!!!!!!!!!

You are correct that was a rough figure based on a 1 cup serving.

Unless you were assuming considerably more, then you are incorrect, or perhaps thinking of the more commercially sold soy milk that has sucrose added to it. (still not alot usually)

But, let's get specific. based apon 3 trial breakdown of nutrients the averages for 1 cup come to:

4.434 carbohydrates
3.185 (of the carbohydrates total that come from fiber)
(total 1.249 absorbable carbohydrates)
4.679 fat
6.737 protein

Now I'll lay out the figures for 1.5 cup:

6.651 carbohydrates
4.7775 (of the carbohydrates total that come from fiber)
(total 1.8735 absorbable carbohydrates)
7.0185 fat
10.1055 protein
