Need help finding a song

Now, I dont have too much info on it but all I know is that it's from the 80's (atleast it sounds like 80's, doubt it 90's) i heard it was a one hit wonder and the guy who sings it sounds sorta like billy idol...and i'm a little sketchy on this part, but I do believe the song is about a guy or someone who is have a hard time with drugs or something about celebrity's/rockstar and drugs/stardom...like i said, I dont have much info, but any ideas would be great.
