meal 1 - 1 cup shredded wheat, 1 cup milk

meal 4 - 1.5 cups milk, 30g whey, 2 tbsp ANPB, 1 banana
meal 5 - 5 chicken pieces at Carls JR w/ ranch
meal 6 - 6 oz fish, 3/4 cup rice, spinach salad
meal 7 - 10oz chicken w/ mayo

calories = 3200 calories, 200g protein

I cheat a couple times a week. but since your trying to stay lean, I wouldn't recommend it. i forgot, are you still on a cycle? whats your weight? Milk is white magic, drink tons. You could up your protein to about 250 grams a day and that should be fine. Many others will swear by 2 grams protein per lb. Unnecessary.

haha thank you, the first person on this site that also thinks 2g per lb is ridiculous. That would cost me a fortune to get 380g of protein lol no thanks.

Im 190, im in week 3 of PCT. I have actually gotten stronger since my last day on cycle. I lost 10lbs due to water weight but i am still looking solid. Im gonna add another shake to get the extra 50g.

that much protein is completely a waste. It'll just be an expensive source of energy and and expensive turd. Anyways, I've read a couple studies that says BCAA's are more beneficial for muscle growth than protein(post work out) that says something.

Is this a cutting/ lean bulking diet? Lotta sugar (in the milk) and high GI carbs in here.

Not enough protein per meal either. Needs some work man.

What are your goals?

If you are in PCT - have you recalculated your maintenance calories? If you have gained LBM they will be considerable higher than before your cycle, and therefore you will need more calories to maintain.

I'm not sure if it still holds true since it's almost 40 years later... but in Bill Starr's book "The Strongest Shall Survive" he says this:

"As Dr. Paul Cannon in Recent Advance in Nutrition has pointed out, "If there is so much as an hour time lag between eating incomplete proteins and complete protein, the value of the incomplete is lost."

"The problems encountered through eating incomplete protein became quite vivid a few years ago when many women started on an all-gelatin diet. Gelatin is lacking two essential amino acids and is almost lacking three others, yet the dieters were not informed that they should supplement the gelatin with even a small portion of complete protein. They merely mixed the gelatin with water, as directed. After some length of time the proponents of this fad diet came down with specific symptoms of ill health associated with protein deficiency."

For those of you that don't know what a 'complete' protein is, it contains all 8 of the EAA's (tryptophane, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, treonine, valine, leucine, and isoleucine).

I don't know if recent studies about branched chain amino acids make this outdated, but still an interesting read!

How did you end up with 200g of protein with just that?
