To say almonds are bad for you, is an absurd and completely false comment. They are an excellent source of health efa's when cutting with your protein+fat meals or when bulking to add additional fats.
slowing down...... I'm getting to that point where I'm not enjoying the taste of almonds..... I've added some red meat and chicken and cut my almond intake to about 12oz a day. No Joke here! my abs are looking better than ever! haven't increased my running mileage (still at 30-35 miles a week) still lifting 4-5 days per week.
I may have to try eating a bunch of almonds each day (to replace some carbs I have each day), and see how it goes, lol. Hopefully I wont become a blimp from doing this. Hopefully like the OP, I will lose weight or maintain.
