Max Out Interrupted -- Please Help!

Alright, here's the scenario. I just got to college and just went on the max out hit program. With the food here I have been growing at a pleasant rate. I was just finishing week 2 of the program and go a terrible cold. In case you didn't know the hit prog. involves mon-fri. I missed fri due to feeling like shit and might have to miss monday too.

Here's the question: Would it be a good or bad idea working out with a cold? Would it help fight it or would it drag me down deeper. I am pretty discouraged and would like to follow the workout day by day. Please, any info would be much appreciated.

Also, would detoxing the body be a good idea. If been drinking about a gallon of water a day and have been supplementing with 2 multi's and about 1ooomg's vit c throughout the day. Is there anything else i can do?

Last question: I heard that OTC meds make you catabolic. Is this true? If so, what can i do to prevent it?

Thanks for all the help guys!:D

i wouldn't try working out while you are sick. let your body use all it's resources to get over the cold. you will feel even worse if you try to workout when you are sick. just pick up your routine next week, or whenever you feel better.

but you are the judge of how well you feel. if you feel that you can give your workout 100%, then go for it.
