I'm planning my cutter. The goal is to reduce from 10-11% bf (73kg), to 6% b.f. (69kg). I'm 5'6. It's not for a competition, just to look good on the beaches for the Australian summer.
I am normally a diary lover, drinking 2-3 litres of skim milk per day, and maybe 100-200 grams of non-fat cheese. I'm certainly not lactose intolerant. It doesn't seem to cause fat gain for me.
I recognise that generally milk is considered taboo on a cutter, but given the many studies suggesting dairy increases fat oxidation, I was wondering whether it was possible to include some slices of non-fat kraft cheese singles (there is no other non-fat cheese brand in Australia).
per 100 grams, they have 25 grams P; 2 grams F; 10 G carb. A similar amount of protein and calcium from milk would be around 30+ grams of carbs (too much)
What do people think? I understand that the sugar galactase, which upon the reduction of lactose, can only be used by liver, if I was to have 4 slices of cheese (80 grams), that would be most of my calcium requirements, and only 4 grams of galactase. Given fiberous veggies contain some fructose and sucrose (even Brocolli contains 1.7% sugar, of which fructose is the main contributor), I would probably be up to 30G of carbs a day that were reduced to either fructose or galactase, with the remaining carbs either dextrose or complex carbs, reduced to glucose in muscles. The remaining 100-150 carbs I intend to consume on average per day will be complex carbs or PWO dextrose.
If this is all correct, will it be OK to have these few dairy carbs, given the liver can cope with about 50 grams of Carbs a day? Salmon and some flaxseeds were to provide the remaining calcium in my diet.
THanks
