thx peeps....i've been off and on....just haven't had the urge to post in my log in a while. i hope everyone has a great holiday and enjoys themselves!!

p.s. just wanted to let you guys know i got my cortisone injection about 1 1/2 weeks ago...and i did bent over rows today .....finished with 155 i think for 5. elbows tucked in tight and no jerking what so ever!! felt great...back a little sore now but i was able to do it which was exciting. as far as deadlifts are concerned i think i'll keep those at bay and stick with the bent over rows since that seemed to not really bother me.

next challenge is standing ohp's....i think i'll be able to nail it though
 
yesterday's training

legs (day 1...hitting them twice a week now tuesdays and saturdays)

smith machine squats 95x5 115x5 135x5 155x5 165x5 did these slow and controlled ass to da floor and eyes rolled up to da ceiling! could do more weight.....still getting back into the groove of things with m back. not sure if i'll add the weight or not as my back was not strained with this weight...we'll see.

leg curls 3x10

db lunges 3x10 30lbs (my fuggin arse is killing me today)

calves stuff

10 minutes on incline treadmill 10% at 3.2mph

my diet as of late has been spotty to say the least with the holidays....gonna have to try and correct that this week.

today is shoulders...planned attack is as follows:

standing ohp

bent over laterals

front raises

side laterals

shrugs

I was wondering about your log but this just answered my question I posed in my own.

Just so you know cortisone injections can be a temporary relief as well.... May want to see about setting some funds aside if possible next year to also get your shoulders worked on with massage.
Just a thought anyway...
 
had some things going on in my life...not the best of times for me personally and basically lost all interest in everything...including training and ef. but i feel much better these days :)

yeah my shoulders are all fugged up....my left needs surgery but i won't do it and the right side of my body is noticeably weaker and a tad smaller then the left. eeeh i'm not entering any comps so i don't really mind the imbalances anymore but it would be nice not to have them
 
today's diet

meal 1 ON shake 1/2 cup of oats

meal 2 2 cups of eggwhites

meal 3 99% fat free ground turkey with lettuce and tomato and fat free sour cream

meal 4 1 can of tuna

PWO ON shake 1/2 cup of oats and a banana

meal 5 16oz steak with green veggies

meal 6 2 tbsp of anpb

shoulders

standing ohp 65x15, 95x12, 105x10, 115x8, 125x6 drop set 105x5 my strength levels were a little off i think since this is the first time i'm doing them sans smith machine and i also took the week off so aftre the first 2 sets i was feeling the pain already. i think next week or the week after i'll be able to hit 135x5 depending on if my back holds up.

bent over laterals 25x15, 30x12, 30x12

side laterals 30x15, 35x12, 40x10

upright rows 2x8

yep...back in action baby!!! a little upset b/c my back was doing fine until yesterday...in some pain today. need to do more stretching!!! i have to go for 2 more shots and then the doc said i should be fine....let me tell you something though...getting that procedure done sucked ass!!! a needle 6 inches long going into my back is not fun at all...then when they start shooting the steroids ins....damn!!! lol

stories....hmmm. well my sister had a xmass party and someone ended up bring a karaoke machine. so after about 12 diet and bacardi's i shut off the music which everyone was thoroughly enjoying...turned on the machine....grabbed the mic while people were screaming and yelling for me to turn the cd back on....put the mic to my mouth and told everyone to shut the fawk up b/c it's tank hour now! then i preceded to play neil diamonds kentucky woman and blew everyone away with my dazzling vocals and my captivating charm! that plus i didn't even need to look at the screen b/c i knew all the words by heart...i had a few slabs of mortadella thrown at me in the begining (my sister ordered a 6 foot hero for the occassion) but after about 45 seconds i had established a huge fan base that were soon joining in on the chorus and set off a feel good vibe like at the end of the movie rudy when they started chanting his name ....and if that's wrong i don't wanna be right!
