Did some runs today [Black & Double Black Diamonds with ice :worried: ] I have never done before!! And did some bump runs which I stink at.....but boy does that get the HR up!!

Burned about 834 cals today per the HR monitor....

Wow burning a lot of calories, and enjoying it great mix!
 
Hmmmm, you must have been in my subconscious yesterday. Last night I had a dream about being scared of going down a bunny hill! lol
 
Going to start recording cals burned whilst skiing....

Tues Jan 31st: 416 cals (3 hours)

Today was a light powder day and tracked out (and dense fog which is why so short of a day), so legs got a workout (beating) & quads were burning....felt it in my hips too as I worked on my turns thru the crud...

Also did Shoulders today:
Shrugs using a 5 gallon jug of water, each hand (poundage??): 1x10, 2x12
Reverse lats (like a bend over flye) w/20lb DBs: 3x10
20lb DB Presses: 1x10, 1x12, 1x12
20lb DB Laterals: 1x5, 1x 5, 1x5, 1x5

Biceps:
1-armed 20lb DB Curls: 1x8*, 1x8*, 1x8* *each arm
20lb DB Hammer Curls: 1x8. 1x8, 1x8

1 gal = 8 pints = 8 lb of water
5 gal = 45 lb of water
 
git your butt on the hill and out of the beer trough. You gotz a 4X4 and are worried about a little weather between you and a gym (with pool, hot tubs and sauna)? Geez, southern girls just ain't right in the North.

And skiing is anarobic, not endurance. You go FAST and stop, end of story. you better run or go to the gym if you want endurance 'cause skiin aint it.

So, can we meet in the bar and discuss your body fat and exercises? What mountain are you at anyway? I'm in VT nearly every weekend. Pico, Killington, Okemo? Maybe Bromley or Magic or Statton?

I'm working on eliminating the beer thing, however it is difficult to avoid when EVERYONE you know around you is drinking..... got to try & get back that zone where I don't care....

As for endurance - that's fine, running is good, etc.....however - as I'm trying to add muscle at this point in time - actually adding in extra cardio such as running at this point will simply eat away at what muscle I have....don't want that kind of setback....
