I hate rap music

Closeminded people like you get no respect from me. I don't listen to country or metal in my free time, but by no means will I write it off as crappy music. All types of music stem from some belief, attitude or experience. You have to be able to relate to it in some way or another. "Good" hip hop and rap touch me the way no other type of music can. And I'm white (OMG! no way!). I don't listen to it because it's popular. I listen to it because it makes me feel alive: the beat, the stories, the struggles, overcoming the odds...it all makes sense to me. If you can't understand that, then you have no right calling other types of music "crappy."

Yes. You are correct. Girls undress themselves and instantly drop their morals and panties at the sound of rap music. It has nothing to do with the way they are raised by their parents. It has everything to do with what they hear on the radio. That's why I carry a boombox on my shoulder blasting rap music. I get laid on the spot.

I don't take that comment seriously, BUT, if that's how you get laid, then I hope you like gono-herpi-syphil-aids, because the slutty, loose girls are gonna give it to ya. I hope they make a strong cream for that.

The problem is it's pretty hard to tell the slutty from the not so slutty, since all of them let loose in some way or another. Take college as a major example. That and the fact that a lot of girls have one night stands, whether they are considered sluts or not.

The ones who are shy and don't want to dance at clubs could also be a slut in prude's clothing, just as much as some hottie shaking her ass might have never had a one nighter in her life. It's too tough to put your finger on any one girl without hard evidence. No pun.

I agree, rap music sucks. I dont think the public should embody low intelligence jungle beats.

There's an upper limit to these primitive ryhmes - you can only go so far sounding unintelligent and not knowing music theory. Luckily the studio can compensate for a lot of the shortcomings of this music.

Then again, I suspect most people do not listen to Rap with these things in mind or with that goal.

Country on the other hand really rubs me the wrong way. I think mostly women like it and I have yet to figure out why. That country music voice irritates the hell out of me - and I listen to deathmetal and porno grindcore! But at least country music has real instruments and innovation in that respect.

There are exceptions to everything I posted so dont get your panties in a bunch.

I don't care what people listen to. Personally, I'll listen to anything.
But if it intrudes into my music, or my space, then I have a problem. You wanna play your music like that, keep it downtown on the strip, or out in the country. Not when I'm driving home from work.

The only crimson I see keeps runnin' out of your nose
We rain a bevy of heavy blows on the faces of foes
Like a murder of crows, close to a Biblical swarm
When we roll up in your dorm, next day, your body's found deformed
We say "define the norm," not even grade inflation
Can save you from the blue crew's decimation
I don't care which university's the best in the nation
All that lingers is the middle finger gesticulation
Matriculation gave me all of the tools
To school fools from other schools by breakin' the rules
We at the tailgate, in heavyweight U-hauls from out of state
With crates of Bacardi to save the party stuck in dire straits
Larry H. Summers doesn't want this dauntless
Crew from New Haven to come to Cambridge and flaunt this
Flow that's been known to break your face like glass
We ever-present, but love to live a lie in the past

pretty small minded people in here, different types of music is a reflection of society in general if you cant respect others just for the fact of being different then there are some deep issues that you need to address personally (racism). as far as me i like a very wide range of music not all though but i dont go as far as saying some of the things that were said here i hope my children are never around some of the small minded bigot fucks in here!!! diversity is a contribution not a infection

I like a very broad range of music and used to like a lot of rap, so this is coming from a former listener......rap now a days fuckin sucks more than alien amp pharm and a bag of dicks.

the last good rapper was tu paq(sp?) rap has gone to absolute shit these past 6+ years.

Every song is about the exact same shit over and over, and its just ripped off from another older song anyway.

Plus rap stations seem to only have 10 songs that they play all day long.

If I hear "let me see your grill" one more time...I'm going to remove my radio forever.
