GT's 2012 Transmutation

Hello everyone! :)

I've been reading on these forums for a few months and I've recently finished my semester, so I decided to go all-out at the gym and begin my transmutation.

22, Male
5'8
160 lbs (I used to be stuck at 145 for a year, have been taking ON Serious Mass for 5 months and increased protein intake while reducing carbs).

I'm going to do a 10-week cycle on test 250mg as well, with:
Optimum Nutrition Serious Mass
ON Creatine 5mg day
ON Casein

And I'm still debating which AI to use as I've read about a hundred articles on the most suitable one for my purposes. I'll definitely be making a decision sometime this week before I begin working out.

My schedule:

Monday/Thurs: Chest/Tri
3 x DB press
3 x Incline BB press
3 x Decline BB
3 x Incline Flyes
4 x Tricep pushdowns
Dips, Pushup circuit
1 x close-grip BB bursts

Tuesday/Friday: Shoulders, Back, Bi

3 x Arnold Press
3 x BNP (Behind Neck Press)
2 x Lateral Flyes
3 x Delt Cable Raises
3 x Pullups
3 x Rows
2 x Concentration Curls
3 x BB curls
2 x Zottman curls


Wednesday: Quads, Calves, Hamstrings
Will post rest of workout soon. Abs are every other day excluding rest days.

Saturday, Sunday: REST

Any advice on the AI or anything else I should add/remove would be greatly appreciated!

BF: 14-16% as of two months ago
AGE: 22
HEIGHT: 5'8
WEIGHT: 160
YEARS TRAINING: Two but on and off, nothing serious. I started MMA training 8 months ago as well as two workouts a week. My lifts are as follows:

DB flat press: 70lb db's
BB flat press: 150lb
Incline flyes: 40lb db's
DB curls: 45lb db's
Tri pushdowns: 110lbs
Lateral Raise: 20-25lbs

Going to start noting what I do for each workout in the gym and make this more specific as I begin my workout!

Why not incorporate a push/pull routine that way you can let those muscles the day before rest because they will be isolated.

Like this

Bench press (muscles trained, Delts, pecs Triceps)
Dumbell flys
Tri's



Next day
Lat pull down/Rows (muscles trained, Back,rear Delts,Biceps,Forearms) The above are isolated and resting.

Next day a full scessions of ab work ,leg raises,crunches,situps etc.work up to a toyal of 300 reps

Next day
SQuats & Deads

Next day leg ext,and leg curls, 3 sets of calves at 100 reps each


2 day rest and repeat.

make a journal so take before and mid cycles pics plus the end, you will look back and say "I was Rocking"

Hey, thanks Radar! Really appreciate the input.

Definitely going to modify some of my workout.

Any advice on the AI? Also, I might just go with test 250 instead of 500. Wasn't looking for any dramatic changes. :O
 
I would just use Aromasin at 12.5mg/day. If you start getting achy joints then stop use.

Yeah, I'm currently out of town. As soon as I get back and settle (on Monday), I'll post up everything in detail.

Regarding the Aromasin, is that for test 500? Or 250? I'm planning on not doing 250 for 6 weeks.

Doesn't matter you may need it , i bought some and only once i needed it.
BTW 500mg test is better than 250mgs.


Lets hear what your PCT is like.
