AfterNoonWorkout:
turned into Evening Workout...
Basic Tricep fest, and the gym was crazy crazy busy, so i had to show off and do inverted Pikes with a very radical pull at the apex.
Hey Buns, Sassy, Sarge: you know that 'rollup' thing at the end of the Pike? I am just one step away from a handstand at the end!!!! BWAHAHAHAHA!!! Now THAT will be the big willie friggin move!!! (omg, i am such a friggin' nerd!!)
.
PWO Cardio:
45 minutes HillIntervals on the ArcTrainer at a constant HR of 146-150bpm, followed by 15 minutes of 100rpm hills on the recumbent LifeCycle.
Nice. Legs are absolutely twitching. Seriously. Like little tiny twitches that i cant control... very funky. Took two Hammer Nutrition Endurolytes capsules immediately PWO to stave off the cramps i KNOW will slam me later with this type of savage PWO cardio.

Why?
I do this because it makes me feel like a winner. I do this because its something not many folks can do. I do this, in no small part, because of the 'jaw drop' they get when i hit the 10th full on pull at the end of a third set of pikes when most of the gym rats cant do ONE.
I am no elite athlete, i am not 1/1000th as strong as a parent who stands by a sick child, or the brave that defend our country, or those that protect us day to day, I am not worthy to stand next to those that give so much for so little... but in my own reality, my own small taste of experience, I have surpassed myself. Much of this is really beyond what i thought i could do, beyond what i thought myself capable, but more than anything else, its beyond what i was brave enough to EXPECT of myself. I had conditioned myself to expect failure, now i demand a completely different reality.
No matter what happens, no matter the outcomes of things beyond my choosing, no one can take that from me. No horror will wrest from me the clarity I gained the moment that i realized that i can.
