GH..Why 5 day on 2 off and not just consistently on?

indy69camaro said:
It's not just because of money, the pituitary gland can tend to get "lazy" after 5 days or so of exogeneous GH in the system, therefore the 2 days off keeps him pumping on his own so you dont have to rely on it thru a needle the rest of your life.

Indy
At age 35 I think my natural GH is so lazy that it would appreciate all of the exogenous GH I can afford.

well i happen to see that we have a user with the handle almost pro and if thats the one from bolex then hopefully he will chime in here and give some of his vast knowledge because as his name indicates he was "almost pro" and had the body to go with the name, he advocates daily dosing of GH

taken right from his thread on bolex

"One myth that needs to be cleared up: high doses of GH use and the 5 on 2 off program. First, if you find that you are not achieving results off of 4-6iu ed, than something else is the problem, not your dose. The use of high doses if primarily cause by heat damage to the protein chain causing denatured proteins. This will decrease the effect and you must use higher doses to achieve the same effect. Other reasons for high dose use are; fake gh, not using insulin, Cytomel or test, poor diet, improper timing schedule and the 5 on 2 off. This program was recommended by dealers as a way to move product by offering a lower cost cycle. No doctor in the world would recommend this protocol, Peak blood concentrations are reached in 2-6 hours after injection, and therefore, multiple daily injections are necessary to achieve stable release schedule and results. If you take your last injection Friday afternoon, and then not again till Monday morning, then you have negated all effects offered by the 6 hour concentration. Yes, you will achieve results using a 5 on 2 off program, but not as well as if you inject ed. It’s your money; I can only tell you how to optimize use."

hope if thats him he chimes in here.....

That's all fine, but nearly no one here is doing this under the supervision of an endo either. When you run GH 7 days a week, several injections a day, you will suppress. Yes I know this from first hand knowledge cause despite all I read I wanted the contant blood levels as well, and I did it for 6 straight months, every day, 2-3 times a day. This WILL suppress you, only under the care of a doc should you actually do this unless you really know what you are doing and know how to get your glands kicked back into gear after the supply of gh runs out. Cause now you're not trying to get your balls inflated, you need to get an area of your brain to start responding again, big difference if you ask me, just trying to be safe, no flame....

so are you saying that taking 2 days off is the best way to combat suppression? Also, when you do quit GH, doesn't your endogenous production slowly kick back in unlike PCT for AAS? Or are there other ways to kick start your "recovery" when done with GH

Not saying it's the "best" way but it has become some what of a "best practice" over the years. Yes in "most" cases your pituitary will kick back into full speed, but unlike the testes this is abit more harmful if it does not. Therefore it is a bigger risk and should be taken slightly more seriously than your testicles not functioning, either way you're looking at HRT for your remaining time. Unlike a gear cycle where you can "kick start" recovery with many agents I am unaware of one that helps with GH. Back when I was doing all my HGH research that was nothing I documented to remember about it today. There is a doctor out there that has been using the same group of test patients since the 80's, I will see if I can find his name or the latest book he wrote, lot's of gh information like this in there.

Exactly.

I'm an old man. (50 in a few weeks) My post cycle recovery takes twice as long as it did ten years ago. Because of my age, I'm already producing just a fraction of the gh you young punks are. If my gh recovery is anything like my pc recovery, I could be focking myself up seriously by not tending to my endogenous production. Besides, if I keep my endogenous production high all the time, I'll need just that much less exogenous gh. That's why I shoot EOD.
