GH and Joint Pain

funny thing I was also taking Fina and Arimidex along with test and Eq when I got the joing pains with the GH, I wonder if taking the Fina and GH had something to do with it? It got to the point where I just had to stop.

we only make .5 to 1.5iu a day naturally, which is still produced will using somatropin if we inject at the right times.

i've never quite understood what time at the day is best for using GH...
some say the best thing is half the dose in the morning, and the rest before bedtime!! some say 5 days on/2 off, some say 6on/1off etc etc...
i would really like to get some more info & different suggestions on this!! can someone please help, or give me a link??

I have only been on GH for 4 weeks though! I am seeing GREAT results but not worth the sides....I just wish I knew how long it was going to take to go away.

My elbows might be giving me more problems than other people because I am on the computer ALL day at work.

I have been on gh for about 3 weeks and like you I am using the computer all day (programmer) I haven't noticed any pain in my joints yet however my lower back (spine area) has been hurting like hell every morning when I wake up... AHHHH!!

I have been doing 400mg deca wk... who knows.. hope you start feeling better.

Ive been on GH since april 1st, 6IU dialy, mainly injecting on front of trunk, abs, pecs etc. I started sleeping like a baby alsmot immedialty and normally I am a very light and restless sleeper. My hands and knees are stiff but aside from that no problems. Im up 5lbs in three weeks and appear to be a tad leaner. Currently on no other "products".

There are studies that seem to indicate that GH does have its own feedback mechanism and extended use can lower ones on GH production so one of the reasons I believe many did the 5on/2off was not only to save money but reduce the chances of natural shutdown or inhabition.

As for when to shoot, times vary because hormones have a limited life span or halflife if you will and because of that hormone release is in pulses and these usually have varying degree's of magnatude but usually follow a pattern. I cant remember the exact times of the day but it was something like 6am, 1pm and 8pm where the lowest levels of GH on average and thats when most people shoot. Once again since hormones have a limited lifespan people often break up the injections into 2-3 and try to hit them when natural levels are low to get the most out of it.

what if you sleep til noon everyday like me?? LOL so much for the 6am shot :)

it is in my experience and research and opinions of long term users that the best time to shoot is when your own natural production would normally take place.. while you are sleeping..
the idea is to replenish the gh at its natural time..

i tried both ways..
1) in the am and after my workout..mid afternoon
2) right before bed

IMO.. prior to bed works better..

my friend would shoot prior to bed 3 ius and then 3ius when he woke up.. this worked for him...

so the bedtime should be a definite shot :)

since no one seems to be able to overcome the pain

i am still curious if anyone has a solution for the joint pain. I had to drop the intake of GH to 1 iu/day. So now i am doing only 4 iu a week and still the pain does not go away.

One can hardly say that after 4 months the body has to adjust, not at this low dose.
The only good that comes out of it: it's getting cheap, doing only 4iu/week, but not enough to see decent results.

I feel for ya Jeff. I took a few weeks off and I still have the joint pain. I know that I was training like a mad man when I started cause I was so fired up about taking the stuff....I wonder if I just over did it with my training. I was training to failure all the time....

I am about to fire up a cycle. I am almost sure that the stuff is like Winny. Most people take it with something else which is why they probably don't notice the sides as much?

I would like to keep this thread going becuase I am interested to hear from people that have this problem and work through it...i am not ready to give up yet!

Could you explain a little?
I read something about GH and it said the IGF-1 rise lasts AT LEAST 24 hours.

I would guess that, if IGF-1 is high, there will be no endogenous GH production, but this was not checked in the studies I read.

You write ther would still be natural production if injcting at the right times, which I guess means NOT post wo and pre-sleep.
Do you have any medical, or anyway scientific, evidence on that?

I am extremely interested!

I had friends who developed sort of TCS after only 6 weeks 5/2 at 3 iu a day, and other at 4 iu eod, which is a prett low dose.

I myself have only 48 iu, and was planning to take it 4 iu mo-we-fr, 2 weeks on and one off, of course stacked with all the rest.

I also somewhat think that joint problems comes when the dose is too high, and also very small doses could be "beneficial", is appropriated stacked with.

If you had any bibliography can you just post the references?

Thank you!

Well Grainger we are in the same boat i guess

am taking 6 caps of Glucosamine now and after a week it seems to be getting better, but don't know for how long.
Will try to get rid of the pain, then up the dose. I firmly believe (as I.M. says) that 2 iu/day (7/7) is the way to go.

1) lowering the costs
2) maybe one is able to control the pain and avoid injuries
3) going up to higher doses is for the lucky ones who don't feel anything.
