Funny pics...of B True

Bfold, I just checked out some of your movies, I particularly like the Bench one, your form was awesome on that, real smooth, almost looked like you could have gotten maybe one more rep just about?

Who cares what bfold looks like, hes been sick, but his lifts speak for themselves.

Keep it up man

Nice tatoo you got there !!

Liberator: Thanks man. Much appreciated. With all the traffic I have been getting on my web site lately...it will probably be shut down within a week...lol.

I don't think I had much more in me on that bench. I might have gotten 435 or so...but definately not another rep with 427. If my speed slows down I will definately miss the rep. I have a few video clips of me doing 405 and missing it when my form breaks and my elbows flare out. Form is key...makes a huge difference.

Thanks for the good post...it is much appreciated.

B True- just noticed your site in your sig. Glad to see you got it up. Good stuff. Hope the sponsors all check it out.

You know cars go faster if you put the shiny metal thing in the hole next to the steering column and then turn it :D.

BTW this is the first time I've managed to get into your videos......pretty cool. One thing I noticed on the deadlift is that you dip your hips right before you start the lift rather that sitting down earlier. Is that deliberate (to get a stretch or something?) or just the way you do it?

Also, check out the guy in the wifebeater in the video of Nightfly using the log lmao. I reckon after seeing that he was ready to quit and go home :).

dutch, one thing i noticed is that most conventional deadlifters i know do that little dip thing. I do it for a little stretch reflex, and i feel im stronger if i do that. I dunno what b fold does it for, but in most people i think its for that.

Imnotdutch: My back tends to cinge up if I set that low for too long and that little dip helps to get the bar off the ground. If I can break it quickly then I can get it...I think. I didn't notice that I did that till I saw it on video.. There were tons of funny guys in Night Fly's gym...lol. I should have taped them training...lol

Deciever: Still searching for some sponsors...have a few small ones "interested" but noting is a go till my name is on the dotted line.

re: your technique pushing the car

is it easier/more comfortable the way you pushed the car with your arms grabbing the bottom of the rear bumper rather than with a pressing stance(i.e. having your hands on the trunk lid)? I know the latter imitates rotator cuff stress, just thought I'd ask...

b fold,I did not know you was in my neck of the woods last week.Chattanoga is about 45 minutes drive from my house.

How many days a week do you train with weights?I know your doing strongman training and some westside.Do you do any of the speed work?

the People's Champ: Night Fly did her first run with pushing her car with her arms straight out. It kept her body too spread out and I don't think that it allowed her to DRIVE as much with her hips and legs. With the car push, you need to take short quick steps to keep up momentum. She did it the way that I do on her 2nd run...and went much farther.

goldenone: I live near the lakes in Western Kentucky. You are welcome here anytime. Most of the lifting that I do is speed work only...my events are my Max Effort days...mostly.
