Funny pics...of B True

b fold the truth

Elite Strongman
Platinum
A week or two ago Night Fly and I did some tire flips, car pushes, sprints, walking etc... I feel pretty small at the moment. Been doing more cardio and haven't had a lot of food to eat lately. I need more fat in my diet...lol...

Here is a pic that Night Fly took of me after I did the tire flip and car push. I was pretty tired, depleted, and bleeding from my outer pecs (the tire rubbed the skin off of them). Wait...is that an ab I can see...lol...

Yeah...I know I'm fat...

Here is another of me after doing the car push..

Can you guess what kind of car Night Fly drives...lol

But the sheer impressiveness of it depends on if it's a Cougar, or a Mountaineer! :lmao:

Hah! :p

What do your neighbors say about all the car pushing in the
street and tire flipping in your driveway?

My neighbors think I am crazy doing all of the PL'ing stuff and
I have not yet drug the sled up and down my street. I cannot
wait to hear the comments when I start doing that.

I too am Crazy 'bout a Mercury!!!!

Looking big and strong guys. And before anyone devastates B-fold with the earthshattering news that he is not ripped to shreds, you may want to consider that he is a premeir strength athlete. And a pretty impressive specimen as well.

Love the Mercury brand. I have a picture of a bar scar taken after a heavy squat night. I am bruised from one shoulder all the way across the back to the other one. I will try and dig it up. Not as cool as the Mercury symbol, but still pretty neat, I thought.

Have you checked your BF lately?

Who cares, he's in this to lift small buildings not to look pretty, and he started from a twig which makes him that much more impressive.

That Mercury symbol is some funny shit:D

i think you should open up your own towing business as a part time job. It would be good training .

What do you weigh now, like 280?

Aussie Juga naught: I am 6'2" and about 275-280 in that pic. I had been sick (cough, cold, fever) for about 2 weeks and didn't have a lot to eat...so that is why I am a little smaller. I need to be in slightly better cardio shape anyway...

Geno_O: My neighbors love it...they all come out to watch me "play" on Sunday...lol

beastboy: Haven't had it checked in years...but could always use a little more bodyfat for my strength. I feel stronger when I am a little fatter. It is just hard to get into better cardio shape and put on fat. I can lose weight very quickly if I am not careful...

Japanese machine: He is I and I am him...lol. I get asked that all the time. For a presentation in class I did some research about him and imitated him for a presentation...lol

benchmonster: Thanks. I know that I am not ripped...but being able to see a slight outline of my abs is more than enough for me. I too have those nice little bruises from shoulder to shoulder. I have a permanent callus in the center of my upper back where the bar rests:)

Thaibox: Night Fly saw me after I pushed her car and when she noticed the symbol on my chest...she could barely stand up but had to take a pic...

Deciever: Yeah...around 280 or so. Who knows really, and it really doesn't matter as long as I am improving at my events.

Actually, when I was leaving Chattanooga this past week, there were two old ladies stuck in the road. Their car had died and they were about to panic. I hoped out along with another guy who had pulled over...and he had already started to push them over into the grass (out of the road) and couldn't do it. I hoped out and helped and it was no problem for the two of us. I got back into my truck (seeing the ladies get into their wheel chairs) and thought...it is good to be a strongman :)

b- can i use you as a portable tire jack when i get my car... i'll hook up special handles to my car so you can pick it up for me if i have a flat.

Again, I was only asking as an inquiry...

And thanks to whoever left me the neg. karma calling me and ass...thanks!

t3c: Naaa...being yourself is being the biggest man that you can be.

Deciever: Hahahaha...I'm working on something (probably my Christmas present) that will allow me to do that with my vehicles. :)

beastboy: It wasn't taken that way at all...

Sorry beastboy, I didn't read your second post before I wrote that. I thought you were just being a prick.

Ididn't give you the neg karma, but I'll slap you some pos to make up for whoever did

Bfold, I just checked out some of your movies, I particularly like the Bench one, your form was awesome on that, real smooth, almost looked like you could have gotten maybe one more rep just about?

Who cares what bfold looks like, hes been sick, but his lifts speak for themselves.

Keep it up man

Nice tatoo you got there !!

Liberator: Thanks man. Much appreciated. With all the traffic I have been getting on my web site lately...it will probably be shut down within a week...lol.

I don't think I had much more in me on that bench. I might have gotten 435 or so...but definately not another rep with 427. If my speed slows down I will definately miss the rep. I have a few video clips of me doing 405 and missing it when my form breaks and my elbows flare out. Form is key...makes a huge difference.

Thanks for the good post...it is much appreciated.

B True- just noticed your site in your sig. Glad to see you got it up. Good stuff. Hope the sponsors all check it out.

You know cars go faster if you put the shiny metal thing in the hole next to the steering column and then turn it :D.

BTW this is the first time I've managed to get into your videos......pretty cool. One thing I noticed on the deadlift is that you dip your hips right before you start the lift rather that sitting down earlier. Is that deliberate (to get a stretch or something?) or just the way you do it?

Also, check out the guy in the wifebeater in the video of Nightfly using the log lmao. I reckon after seeing that he was ready to quit and go home :).

dutch, one thing i noticed is that most conventional deadlifters i know do that little dip thing. I do it for a little stretch reflex, and i feel im stronger if i do that. I dunno what b fold does it for, but in most people i think its for that.

Imnotdutch: My back tends to cinge up if I set that low for too long and that little dip helps to get the bar off the ground. If I can break it quickly then I can get it...I think. I didn't notice that I did that till I saw it on video.. There were tons of funny guys in Night Fly's gym...lol. I should have taped them training...lol

Deciever: Still searching for some sponsors...have a few small ones "interested" but noting is a go till my name is on the dotted line.

re: your technique pushing the car

is it easier/more comfortable the way you pushed the car with your arms grabbing the bottom of the rear bumper rather than with a pressing stance(i.e. having your hands on the trunk lid)? I know the latter imitates rotator cuff stress, just thought I'd ask...

b fold,I did not know you was in my neck of the woods last week.Chattanoga is about 45 minutes drive from my house.

How many days a week do you train with weights?I know your doing strongman training and some westside.Do you do any of the speed work?

the People's Champ: Night Fly did her first run with pushing her car with her arms straight out. It kept her body too spread out and I don't think that it allowed her to DRIVE as much with her hips and legs. With the car push, you need to take short quick steps to keep up momentum. She did it the way that I do on her 2nd run...and went much farther.

goldenone: I live near the lakes in Western Kentucky. You are welcome here anytime. Most of the lifting that I do is speed work only...my events are my Max Effort days...mostly.

Thanks Deceiver and Bfold......reckon I'll give that dip a try on my next deadlift day.

go for it. If you do it right, i think you'll find that the bar will leave the floor quicker.. In turn you have more speed which will carry over to an easier lockout.

Just make sure to try to stand back...not up.
