Finasteride, propcia, only 2% have sexual side? Bullshit!!!!!

Just wondering if anyone else thinks this is bullshit, I have been on 1.25 proscar for about 7 months now with a 1 month break. I really think it is BS, that it does'nt affect your sex drive or it is in 2% of users. Any comments from users.

Well browncloud I've been on 1/4 proscar myself for nearly 4 months without any negative sexual sides. I'm still losing hair so I'm not to happy with that but I'm not going to stop since many people notice initial shedding from what I have read. How is the 1/4 proscar working for you?

i lost hair, and lost sex drive. i started off with 1/4 tab and was still losing hair, so i bumped it up to 1/2 tab. thats when i got the sides. i went back down to a 1/4 tab, but that didnt help my sex drive.

Anybody try using Nettles instead of propecia/proscar?

It suppossedly inhibits 5AR as good or better, AND has added benefit of freeing up bound test. actually used as aphrodisiac.

I started the proscar and was on it for about 4 months and had some results, I did a cycle, and did'nt lose any more hair than normal. I did, test,tren,winny, and var. Hair killer combo. Then i stopped the proscar after my cycle. With in 3 weeks my hair started coming out worse than before, I started back on proscar and a cycle and i am sheding pretty bad still. Not that i have a problem getting it up but i do notice a diffrence, in my hard on while i am not on this shit.

I was on Propecia for 6 months. It was prescribed to me after going to the dermatologist and taking a blood test to make sure the hairloss wasn't something caused by something wrong in my body.

After 1 month of using Propecia I didn't want to have sex. My girlfriend could be bent over in front of my face and I wouldn't be interested nor could I keep it up. Grant it I look at porn all day as part of my job, and I was smoking pot - It could have been these contributing factors as well. However, after 6 months I decided to stop using Propecia b/c of the sexual side effects.

Most men get these side effects, some don't. But it came down to:

Do I want some hair and not be able to have sex b/c I can't get it up on the medication?

or

Do I want to be bald and not have sex b/c women aren't attracted to me?

Tough choice, but I got over the fact that I was going to lose my hair and moved on with my life. If a woman doesn't like me for who I am then fuck her, I refuse to be insecure because of that. I have better qualities that make up for my hair loss : )

it's total bullshit. i wouldn't guess as to what the real number is but it's definitely more than 2%.

i've been on Propecia (1mg/day) for about three years now. i have never noticed any decrease in libido but my boners definitely are not as consistent. they are not quite as hard. but, 1/4 of a generic Viagra easily fixes that (if it needs fixing).

the results i've gotten from Propecia have far outweighed the minor sides. i've grown back a significant amount of hair and the losses have been totally stopped.

word up.
