I end bulk cycle in about a week and i was wondering if its best to transition slowly from bulking to cutting? does the large calorie difference shock my body, possibly losing some muscle. also if my bmr is 2200cals should i just use that as a number for my daily calorie intake? finally should i look into a ckd or tkd or should i stick to a regular diet with moderate carbs p/w only and the carbs will be low g/i. thanks.

bump, i just realised i need to start cutting this week not next week....just had my last big meal, then looked at the calender and O shit!!..:( next 3 months are gonna suck.

never go immediately into cutting after a bulking session .. stick to maintenance for a few weeks so your body gets used to the weight, then slowly start cutting calories/implementing cardio sessions

if my top 4 abs are still showing do i need to lose 15lbs, or am i overshooting how much i should lose? i gained 20lbs bulking, so is it right to think i added 5lb muscle...or maybe its more. im giving myself a rate of 5days to lose each pound, and will reach 15lbs in the time i hve alloted. let me know thanks

Sound advice, and I agree 100%.

i know everyone says "you cant cut and bulk at the same time" but in the next 3 months will i notice any gains in strength(and maybe a few pounds of muscle?) if i keep lifting and stick to a good diet?

Probably not, you'll prolly go down a little in strength and weight. (especially if your on a low carb diet)

i have gained 20lbs, and i dont look fat at all, i still have abs up top. should i really try to cut 15lbs, or is it totally possible i only added like 5-8lbs of fat?

You are leaving out a ton of information here. How much did you weigh when you started bulking? How much do you weigh now? Where do you get the idea that you have to lose 15 pounds? Do you have to make weight for something? Depending on your answers to the above questions, it could be possible that you may have only added 5 pounds of fat. For example, If you weigh 200 pounds, and you can still see a 4-pack, I would guess you are 9 percent b.f. (depending on where you store your fat) That being the case, you would only have 18 pounds of fat on your entire body. Hit us back, and let us know your stats. There are people on here that can be a big help if you give them enough info to work with. Good luck to ya.

sorry so vague i am 18 years old,i am 5'11 and when i started bulking i was 162, now i am 182-184. i just think 15 is a good # because i think that would be a lean weight for me, as im not huge or anything. hope this is better info. btw my waist is about 1.5" bigger as well
