Hello all!

Just out of curiosity. Do you workout at home or go to the gym?

Which is better?

Right now I go to the GYM but I was pondering on many occasions about buying myself basic equipment and working out at home.

I dont like people asking me if I powerlift or what football team I am on. Thanks but I rather concentrate on workout and recuperation, not this.... Damn I actually thought about going into hockey, not football.... But hey at 200+ it is hard to skate...

Reasons why I think gym at home would be better than GYM.

1)MONEY. WHen you go to the gym you pay big rent costs, even though you dont use half the equipment. (cable preacher curls are for sissies... Bring on deadlifts baby!). For a commercial gym you pay anywhere from 200-1000 a year. For us non weekend warrior types, we go to the gym for many m,any years which means we spend 1000s of dollars. Why noit invest like 2000 max into a home gym with basic (and best) equipement? Much cheaper since you pay for what you have.

2) Convinience. No 2 hour drives to and from. Hey it takes 5 minutes to get upstairs have your own shower and eat some meats!

3) All sweat is yours, no need to wipe it!

4) 100% concetration. No boys who comne up and say.

"Hey you were deadlifting lots and now you are power cleaning, what football team are you on?"

5) Shower is yours and there is no one there

6) GYM is closed on somew holidays. In your own basement gym you cant workout whenever you feel/need.

7)MORE SIZE&STRENGTH. Yeh baby, no distracting frat boys lifts!
barbell is always the best!

8) Yeh can get drunk in your home come there with your friends and get injured.... Just like a powerlifting meet. Sorry I had to say that. :)

ANyways, wehat is your opinion on this issue? Wher do you train, at home or at the gym?

reply please! YEH!
