Interesting approach w/ my trainer - starting the water depletion slower & longer than what I've normally heard. Usually my water depletion has started on Wed before the show - 1/2 of my normal water intake = abotu 1 gal, 1/2 that on THurs = 1/2 gal, 1/2 that on Fri = 1/4 gal, Sat = sip. I'll be interested to see how that goes.
 
Sas...it will dry you out to a greater extent at the cost of fullness
 
He had taken some girls to the Jr USAs and they were following the 3 day water deplete and were water bloated on stage on Sat. The comment was that the 3 day deplete was a pro approach for those more chemically enhanced and they couldn't metabolically clear the water in time. So the slower method might have worked better.
 
If this is what I end up doing, this is probably what I need to do given my little extra layer of fat & skin right now....
 
agreed......you have such round muscle bellies thatyou can retain shape even though your water intake is low

So Shadow, enlighten me please... let me know what kinds of foods you would use to carb load with, and how often would you load? How far out would you begin to carb load, and how does this effect my water intake/depletion?
