Raw Fish - no no - possibility of disease and or food poisoning, even from well-established places. The likelyhood would be that it would jsut get ME sick, not the baby, but there is always a possibility that the baby could get sick, especially since the placenta is fully formed now and everything I eat, the baby eats.

Also, as Sassy said, mercury in the "big fish" are very very high. Things like tuna, shark, mackeral - even COOKED - should be severely limited, if not eliminated. These fish are large and have been swimming around for awhile- they have absorbed a TON of mercury. This can cause serious damage to the baby.
 
okay so that makes me seriously re-think if I should be eating fish. My uncle got mercury posioning a few years ago and almost died, and he hasn't been quite right ever since. I am going to do a little research on this, because I love fish!! This sucks!!

okay so yesterday I passed out at 2 and didn't eat anything again... My "problem" is a problem again... This past month I have not been good at all. I have had some stress in my life and instead of really dealing with it I have ingored it and sunk back into my old ways.... I have to start eating on a proper schedule again!!! So this morning I finally got up early and ran my stairs, my training partner didn't show but I still did.. woo hoo

I am pretty light headed this morning and not feeling great obivioulsy from how I have not been eating. So I am going to lay down for a bit before I eat breakfast and head off to the gym. grr.....

If you eat sushi, know your sushi chef very well. I rehab injured marine mammals and 100% of them have parasites/worms from the fish they eat in the ocean...I deworm them and I am AMAZED. Probably more info than you wanted...lol..sorry

I would not eat raw fish pregnant either.
