so I just got home.. WHAT A DAY!!! 850 images to go through now.. I only brought a handful home.. The weather was PERFECT!! couldn't have asked for a better day.. so we really lucked out with that... I totally jumped the gun about the depleting by the time I was ready to shoot all the muscle were as they should be... and I weighted in this morning at freakin 134 woo hoo... but that 2 pounds is just water but to see the scale at that MADE MY YEAR!!! I will put up a couple of the images probably tomorrow I am exhausted right now... something funny.. where we went is a very quite beach but there was a few asian tourists and they came over and started taking photos of me... VERY AWKWARD!!!

from looking at a couple of the pics I am about 5 pounds away from playboy.. but it is all in my legs of course grrr.....and the upper body is about to lean... WHATEVER...
 
The weather was perfect at the beach today. I bet your pictures come out great. The Asian tourists would have freaked me out. :xeye:

Okay so I did the photoshoot yesterday.. we took over 850 pics so I didn't go through them.. But I brought a couple home just reference for now...


I have the habit of taking my best photos at the end of the day when I get a bit tired so if any of those are usable I will let you guys know...

I am still about 5-10 pounds away from playboy I think... My lower half still is not photographing well.. I thought my tan was darker but it didn't show up in the pics so back to the tanning bed... grrr....

I will be doing another beach shoot in a week in a half... so cardio... its time to step it up!! and the playboy shoot date has been set from a month yesterday so.... 4 weeks to get these legs into shape!!! My concern is as always that my upper body is to lean... but as you can tell if I am not flexing it is not that noticeable..

OKAY helpful suggestions PLEASE!!!!!

OH and these are RAW pics so my bruses etc... are there deal with it.. natural is better anyways...
 
Great pics Courtney. You have really come along way in a short amount of time good work. I don't really know how to be helpful with the playboy thing. I look at it from a what looks good a figure or BB type thing which is not what playboy is looking for. I think you legs need some more size to be honest quads, hams and calfs could use so more lean mass.
 
Yeah I have already realized that playboy isn't going to go for my look now.. but the photographer wants to still try.. I am not going to "lose muscle" as they would like so we will see...

Is it really cold doing photo shoots in the water all day? It's not exactly tropical.
 
I wasn't in the water all day.. and actually this was a pretty warm day... I think in the where we were was in the mid 80's yesterday.. It was BEAUTIFUL!!! normally though if its cold you just have to grin and bare it... WHICH SUCKS!!! there will be a changin area with a heater and you stand by it to warm up... its HORRIBLE!!! but thank goodness this photographer is a good friend of mine so he would never make me do that!!!
 
Yup sweetie you look absultely breath taking.. and u know what.. if playboy doesnt want you.. does it really matter.. you look fabulous.. and honestly.. there loss.. and that is the way u have to look at it.. i don't think you did this for them anyhow.. i hope you did this change for yourself.

thank you everyone so much.... and of course first and foremost this is for myself... I didn't work this hard just for some stupid magazine that I already did... I really don't care if they like me or not... this past year has been the best of my life... I have learned a lot about myself and I learned to deal with my eating disorder... That is probably my greatest accomplishment to date...

so the diet is going to get a little extreme now because I am shoot again in about a week and a half.. so I am wondering if I should log my food intake in here or not.. I might just put down the times I eat so that I have my timing down...

yesterday I pretty much slept all day and then fell alsleep for good around 5 pm and didn't open my eyes till 9 this morning.. I could have slept longer but I pulled myself out of bed to do some cardio because I knew I had to eat something soon... I barely ate yesterday because I was sleeping.... and I am going to take a nap after I am done here... WATER depleting REALLY takes it out of me....

You've been cramping a lot lately - maybe you need to up your sodium or potassium levels? I know you get enough water, so that is not it. I bet your electrolytes are off a little.
 
yeah I am already taking potassium supp. because I used to wake up in the middle of the night and just move my calve like a cm and it would seize up on me...hurt so bad I would be in tears and the only way to loosen it up is to walk around on it.. which hurts even more.. but this is the first time that is has happened during lifting and the second time in a row.. so I am really confused right now.... sodium may be a factor... but I have never had a problem with it before...

yesterday took the day off from the gym.. and upped my carbs so I am feeling better.. But I didn't up the sodium because I am shooting this weekend.. I will have a proper re-feed when I get back next week..

so today through friday back to almost no-carbs and I am not going to do any weight training so that I don't hold any water.. just cardio... I will bring some carbs back in on saturday and sunday..

My body is responding to this eating pattern!!

watch out doing "just cardio" so you don't hold water. Cardio can cause you to hold water too ..... especially in the legs.
 
I've always heard that, and before all my shoots, they recommended no working out the day of and day before for that reason.

Quad's Sis posted the same thing in Sassy's log a couple weeks ago. Let me see if I can find it .....

OFFICALLY THIS AFTERNOON 129 on the SCALE woo HOOOOOOO!!! that is the best birthday present ever.....

okay I was going to wait till my bf is lower but since its my b-day I am going to write up the goal here so that I can't back down.... I have decided to compete again..

The major goal is going to be FAME in hollywood on October 15 which is the fitness model type like miss24 did.

I want to do a couple of other comps in between to practice because this show will be a tough one being that its in hollywood and the only fame competition in california. So I have been looking around for other comps but have had difficulty finding anything... so if you guys can direct me to some different sites that would be greatly appreciated..

I would like to do one in July or August... then maybe some bikini contest to keep me up and ready for october...

oh boy.. okay its written down... oh boy...

Hello Ladies!! I am home and this has been the best 5 days of my life!!

The shoot went better than expected and I met up with a old friend I had not seen in a while. Plus I found out some EXCITING news yesterday that I am not allowed to talk about yet... but basically I have exactly 14 days till my playboy shoot and the day after that is probably the biggest opportunity of my life. I have been on cloud 100 for the last 24 hours and I keep pinching myself to see if I am dreaming. Okay I have a hush thing on the contract right now.. but here is a hint Trish from canada... Yeah I am so meant for this... So training has kept on point because the hotel had a great gym and I did quads and tris on sunday night after the shoot. monday I did abs, chest, and ran for over an hour on the beach. Tuesday I did stars in the morning for about 30 min and the hams and shoulders last night. This morning before the flight I did about a 45 min run on the beach and tonight I am off to the gym shortly to do biceps, and back... So diet is going to be pretty extreme for the next 2 weeks to get everything in order. I will get my bf checked on monday and right now I am weighting in at 128. I think my bf is around 14%... I want to look BUFF for this thing so training is going into OVERGEAR now!!! Thank you ladies so much.. I have a ton of reading to catch up on from what I missed... I did see before I came in here that daisy is expecting... CONGRATS!!!!!!!!! so exciting!!! woo hoo.. Okay if you believe in that short of thing say a little prayer for me.. and wish me luck.. these next two weeks if everything goes right I could completly change my life!!!

Okay so I really need some help deciding what I should do with my cycle. I just finish the 10th week of the primo cycle and I have enough for 2 more weeks… I am supposed to shoot tomorrow so I need some answers…

Here is the deal. I am doing my playboy shoot June 8 so 11 days away… So if I did the 2 last shots that would take me right up until a couple days before the shoot… I CAN’T risk being bloated or anything for this… BUT…. Here is the problem….

On June 9 and 10 I have something REALLY IMPORTANT… That could completely change my life…. I won a contest that I can’t talk about just yet but don’t worry I will let you guys know because you will all have to vote for me… Think Trish from Canada… don’t say anything if you know because it’s in the contract right now not to talk about it…

Okay so I need to look REALLY BUFF for this thing… Like if you saw me walking down the street you would be afraid but also turned on at the same time… I know weird shit…

SO I am planning on sodium depleting and I am just going to be a little bloated for the playboy shoot because I know I am way too ripped for that… But I made a promise to shoot it so if they like the photos great if not… f**k em… But the bigger deal is the next two days so that I when I want to look perfect for those days….

Okay so should I NOT inject this coming week and just focus on diet etc… Or should I finish the cycle out…. I also have var and winny… Would this help to tighten me up for the last 10 days.. if so how should I take it?

Courtny does primo typicaly bloat you? Does var or winny bloat you? I would go with what ever cause the least water retention in you my guess is probably var.

Do all the back exercises before the biceps...you will get a better back workout

I agree with The Shadow. You always want to work a primary muscle group before a secondary. When you work back your biceps are the secondary muscle group being used.
BTW. You look absolutely amazing in those pictures. You should be very proud of what you have accomplished! :)
 
that would explain why I felt so weak during some of the back excerises..

no cardio this morning I WAY over slept but I needed it...

I think my body is fighting me... I will do some mediation today and try to relax

Yeah courtney, I've never looked at your pic's, but I need to add you to my SASSY, FRISKY, BUNS, & MISS24 post!!!! You look great. And all that hard work is paying off BIG TIME. Now, those abs will be burned in my mind while i'm workin out, too..... Congrats on whatever it is that's going on!!!
