Like many people, I want to lose fat and build muscle. I'm slightly overweight. If I try to diet and lose weight, and essentially change my eating habits forever, won't that conflict with my goals of putting on muscle?
How can you starve yourself and still grow? I'm eating low calories and doing cardio/lifting all the time. Is this hindering my gains?
Might I be better off eating more calories and just throwing on the muscle and forgetting about losing weight because that should follow afterwards?
