Cardio after lifting & shake

I'm on a cutting cycle of eq,winny, fina and trying to loose some bf while building muscle. Someone told me to take my glutamine& triple threat 15 mins. after lifting, but the thing is I do about 35-45 min. of cardio after lifting. Question is:
Is it ok to do cardio and take my protein about 50 min. after lifting session? or should I take my shake/glutaime and then do cardio??

First of all, I'd limit your post workout cardio to 20 minutes. I think any more is too catabolic. That way you can have your shake within a half hour or so of your workout. You can take the glutamine later.

Thoughts...

I agree with Gymtime. I would definitely do my cardio after your weight training workout and for no more than 20-25 minutes tops. You can take your supplements after the cardio. Also, you can take your glutamine pre-workout if you like - about 45 minutes to an hour prior. I also like to supplement with glutamine right before going to bed. Good luck!

Also...

I also agree with diamonddiceclay. I believe the best time to perform cardio is first thing upon waking on an empty stomach. The second best time is post weight training workout. At these times blood sugar levels are low and the body has a greater tendancy to use fat stores as its' fuel source. Good luck!

so the final consensus is to do weights then do 20-25 min. of cardio so I can have my shake.

**I have one more question on my days of from weights I do cardio, Is this ok? Is it ok to do about 45 min. or 1 hour rather than the normal 20-25 min. or is that too catabolic?

It's ok to do a little more on your days off, but I wouldn't go more than 30 mins, considering how much you are working out in total.
