im a beginner just bought a treadmill for my home i started to do cardio 5x a week pm..i set the incline as high as can go and stay at the speed of 2.5 to 3.0 i also use 5 lb weights as im doin cardio..heres the q my aim is to do 45 min to an hour but i can only do a 1/2 hr before i start to get dizzy and have to stop..is this b/c im only a beginner and once i get used to it i can finally do an hour straight?? whats good enuff for a beginner w/out over working urself.?

i kno i probably am working a lil to hard for my conditions that im in now..im 21f 110 lbs..just wanna lose sum skinny fat what do u think would be sufficent enough with out overdoing it until i get in better shape..like 3x a week for a 1/2 hr and slowly increase the minutes?

Don't try to lift weights while you do cardio.

Yes, you have to stop because your body isn't used to the exertion yet. You will get better at it.

How long have you been a beginner...have you done some other type of cardio before? If these treadmill workouts are new to you it will take time to break in. I would also at least mix up cardio at least 3 to 4 times a week with strength workouts and not use weights while you're on the treadmill. You could be overtraining yourself which could actually do more harm than good.
