Beginner powerlifter, need help!

I have wanted to get into powerlifting for a while, but people tell me my frame is way too small,(5’9” 170) or that I am lacking size. Although what I do have, is great power coupled with perfect form, on almost every movement. I see this as an advantage in powerlifting and would like to know if powerlifting is the most efficient way of building power, as well as strength. I have started doing movements such as the deadlift, squat, and the clean and press. Please let me know what some basic poundages are for people of my height, or of just my weight.
 
I'm sorry, i need to be more specific, what are some basic poundages for certain lifts, for my height and weight, such as the bench press, deadlift, press, clean, etc. - 5'8" 170lbs
 
hey i'm by no means an expert out here but i've learned in the past from some of the experts around what's your age and your maxes. I also perform the clean,jerk,& press b/c I compete in this in high school. And your not lacking size b/c i'm 5 8 165lbs
 
Thanks for thinking I'm not lacking in size, cuz i've seen a couple people my height that weigh 195 at a bodyfat around 10. I have a really quick metabolism and my bodyfat is under 10%. So what do you do in the clean, press etc. Cubanito? Let me know.
 
Hey man well at the moment i'm on a workout that i max out every 4 weeks, and i'm on week 3 now next week fri i'll be maxin out. Since my last max bench was 225, clean 205, squat 275. One thing man i'm really seriously gettin into PL right now and i'm not a pro at it. I'm only 17. What are your stats. my BF% dunno i'm guessin might be under 12% dont have much on the love handles. I was one of the one's who got injured and decided to lose weight so i dropped 20 lbs although with that alot of strength left too. My old stats before were 285 bench clean ???? squat 375.
 
Let me know what your maxes are next week. I haven't maxed in a while, but the last time I did, I maxed 275 bench (a year and a half ago), squat 300, 5x, (when I was 17), deadlift 225 3x(normal set). I really don't know what the lift is called, when u deadlift, then bring it up to your shoulders in a quick movement, then you press it. But I never max on that, I just do sets of 4 reps with 135-155. I never max on bench, but I plan on to soon, shooting for 300. I'm 5'8, 170, bodyfat under10%, lean.
 
hey man i believe that movement your talkin about is the clean&jerk mostly olympic weightlifters perform it. I do b/c that's what we perform in for High School. I'll keep you posted on my maxes i'm aiming for 250 bench 225 clean and 315 squat. I believe that when i went for a max squat 3 weeks ago i was playing wit myself i coulda done more. B/c monday i repped out my max squat 275 for 4 reps. Let me know how you do. How old r u
