I haven't read it... however, the title itself is misleading as you CAN'T spot reduce.

Most likely is just another diet that will help you drop some fat. Where you drop that fat first is somehting only your body knows.

I hate this diets with Marketing titles...

Speeding up your metabolism can be achieved by:

Increasing daily activity (Total Daily Expenditure)
Eating more meals per day (keep your digestion going)
Eating the right foods. Basically, foods with high Thermic Values (think lean proteins: 30% Thermic values, the highest)

Cheers

Ive personally read the entire book and found it to be very educational because I was very much a newbie to nutrition when I read it. It is a nice read for someone who is unaware of the foods out there and how to help themselves out... Didnt try out the recipes or anything... just learned a good deal about healthy eating and how our metabolisms work... I highly suggest it for any newb out there... but pros have no need to buy it...

Pintoca... it has nothing to do with spot training... thats one of the first things that the author starts out by saying... its not a book about abs whatsoever besides for the ab exercises in the back... simply a healthy eating book. :)

Good thing they put "Abs" in the title. That seems a bit odd? Sounds like it is very similar to the old Body for life info. Great for beginners, but not for vets.

Although I've never read those books, Ive heard that this book is extremely similar to Body for Life

Eat less
Move more

Now that's revolutionary!

ive been reading this book this week and actually, its not about eating less at all. it focuses more on foods that speed up your metabolism. its a good read so far.

it talks about eating things like more calcium, fiber, etc etc. im only a couple chapters into it thusfar. i was just wondering what peoples thoughts were on this book because it goes beyond the calories in, calories out thought. it actually says not to worry about them as long as your foods are coming from the "power foods" it lists. anyone have any knowledge on the book???

I have to say that this is one of the best books I have ever purchased. It teaches you about a lifestyle not a diet. I have been follow this diet (not the training program) and I feel it is the best choice I have ever made in my life. I have tried all methods of eating and I am in the best shape of my life right now. The only modification I made to the diet is I added a little more protein. I would recommend this book to anyone.
