2 days out... advice on carb load/water etc...VETS PLEASE Chime in!

I would like to hear how most of you manipulate carbs water sodium and diuretics for the last week or so. I began my carb load on wednesday and am afraid that I will get "soft" or spill by saturday if if keep my carbs so high??

What do you all do?
 
shit dude you are really asking this at the wrong time.
dont second guess yourself, just do what you planned otherwise you'll get all freaked out and fuck the whole thing up.
 
I am basically gauging the way I look in the mirror and making minor adjustments, but for reassurance I would like to see others regimen.

I agree. It's too late to start fucking with shit. I do a 3 day load also.
 
this time around was the most effective approach i have seen, for me anyway(till I screwed it up friday eating dairy I knew I shouldnt have)
Started diuretic monday, ate normally and didnt touch sodium, in fact, I never dropped sodium at any point. Trained right until wed, last workouts were full body workouts designed to deplete me, without taking away carbs. Thurs, same meals, but ate every two hours, so got a few more in, which means probably an extra 150 carbs, and no training. Thurs at bed, cut my water. Friday, same meals as before, every two hours, about 50 carbs each, started fat loading around dinner time. By friday night I was dry as a bone, and full as hell, I walked around looking like I had a pump all the time
 
Needsize, what did you run for diuretics, and did you start at a higher dose and taper down towards saturday? I am using aldactone, started monday night at 150mg ed.

Also, what is the best meal to have in the morning before the show? I was thinking 3 oz chicken, 4oz sweet potatoe, and 1/2 cup oats. The before prejudging some m+ms and skittles with a sip or two of gatorade and some red wine?
 
I am doing a contest saturday and have been carb loading with baked potatoes and white rice for the first day and half of the next. then midday i switched from high glycemic carbs to med glycemic carbs like sweet potatoes and brown rice. I wasn't told to fat load but i am very corious on how to do it..i.e what exactly to eat on the day before. Hopefully its something awesome like peanut butter.

wait. how many days will you be running aldactone at 150 ed? oh, o.k. i went back and read somemore. no need worrying now just go with the aldactone and start lowering it to about 25. the day of the show just eat on some tortilla chips. thats all i can say for now. you needed a plan before now, bro.
 
no tapering for me, 100mg a day all week, cut my water at bedtime thurs night, only sipped on friday, and never cut my sodium. If you saw my day before pics I posted two weeks ago, by friday I was dry as a bone, and very full
